Bexhill leisure centre Bexhill Leisure Centre, operated by Freedom Leisure on behalf of Rother District Council. Welcome to Bexhill Leisure Centre!

Our main gym has a great mix of cardiovascular and resistance weight machines. There is a separate area for stretching and a dumbbell rack available. The Functional gym features the Queenax machine plyometric boxes, kettle bells, battle ropes and body slam balls that are used in exercises that often replicate everyday movements. Gym Xtra is our free weights room offers a lifting platform, an assisted dip, dual adjustable pulley (DAP), a smith machine and dumbbells up to 50kg. We have a Myride Indoor cycling studio, aerobics classes, health suite, children's soft play area, sports hall and squash court available.

🚧 Bexhill Leisure Centre Refurbishment Update 🚧

A reminder that Phase 2 of our refurbishment programme is now fully underway, bringing essential improvements to your leisure centre. To allow work to continue safely while keeping the centre operational, there are some temporary changes in place:

🏋️ Equipment from Gyms 2, 3, 4 & 5, along with our spin bikes, has been relocated to the sports hall. Gym 1 (our main gym) remains unchanged and open as normal.

🤸 All fitness classes will temporarily take place in the sports hall.

🚪 Please note that all customers should now enter and exit via the sports hall fire exit door in the car park, which is serving as our temporary entrance and exit.

❌ Jumbos will remain closed during this period.

👋 Our team will be based in and around the sports hall and will be happy to help direct customers and answer any questions.

🎉 REFURBISHMENT UPDATE - PHASE 2 UNDERWAY! 🎉

Exciting progress is being made at Bexhill Leisure Centre as Phase 2 of our refurbishment project gets underway!

While improvements are taking place, we're pleased to confirm that a full programme of fitness classes will continue to run. Classes will be held in the Sports Hall from Wednesday 30 September, ensuring you can stay active throughout the refurbishment period.

🚪 Temporary Entrance Information During Phase 2, access to classes will be via the fire exit door into the Sports Hall, located from the car park. Please follow on-site signage and staff guidance when arriving for your class.

Exciting progress is being made as Phase 1 of our refurbishment project nears completion! 🎉

✅ Brand new sports hall roof
✅ Sports hall redecorated
✅ New heating system in the process of being installed
✅ Sports hall changing rooms freshly painted

As we move into Phase 2, there will be some temporary changes to ensure we can continue operating while works take place.
