⭐️ MEET THE TEAM ⭐️

Sophie Simpson BA (Hons) is a lively, vibrant business woman who loves to dance and is passionate about bringing fresh energy into studios.

She has danced from a very young age, her initial training was in Ballet, Tap & Modern Dance. She now runs her own business - SS Dance & Wellbeing, inspiring people’s wellbeing, confidence & happiness through dance.

Sophie has achieved numerous qualifications in Performing Arts, Dance, Music & Freelance Business as well as a degree that specialises in Choreography & Performance. She has toured with RJC (Reggae, Jazz, Contemporary & Carnival) and has been part of the Wakefield Wildcats Rugby League Dance Team. Alongside this she has also performed on BBC & Channel 4 television programmes.

Sophie strives to create environments that engage people & positively impact wellbeing. She is excited to join our Teaching Team as the Street Dance Teacher from September.

⭐️ MEET THE TEAM ⭐️

Izzy is 16 years old & has been dancing at Miss Rachael’s School of Dance for 13 years. Izzy attends Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Theatrecraft, Street Dance and Musical Theatre classes. Izzy is currently working towards her IDTA Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diplomas in both Contemporary Modern Jazz & Theatrecraft! She is a keen member of our Advanced Musical Theatre team & has attended the IDTA Musical Theatre Awards Final in Blackpool for 4 consecutive years!

Izzy has just taken her GCSE’s, passing these with A & B grades. Aswell as dancing, Izzy has decided to continue her academic studies, where she has chosen A-levels in English Language, Psychology & German.

Izzy has assisted in our classes since September 2023 & is very popular with the little ones, aspiring to take on her own classes very soon.

We love having Izzy as a Teaching Assistant at the studio, she brings an infectious personality and a warm nature. Coupled with her conscientious morals we know Izzy will make a fabulous teacher.

⭐️ MEET THE TEAM ⭐️

Miss Bethan is 19 years old & has been dancing at Miss Rachael’s School of Dance for over 15 years! During her time within the school Bethan has passed examinations in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz & Theatrecraft gaining Distinctions from IDTA Preparatory through to Teaching Diploma Level. Bethan holds an IDTA Level 4 Teaching Diploma in Tap, First Aid Certification & Safeguarding Qualification.

Balancing academics with dancing Bethan has A-levels in Criminology A*, Law B & English Literature C. She is currently an LLB Law undergraduate at the University of Hull.

Bethan’s passion has always been in Tap Dancing, her ability to bring out the best in children’s Tap dancing is a well nurtured skill, alongside being a pro at creating complex rhythms!

Bethan is eager to broaden her skills in teaching Dance & Performing Arts, and is looking to complete her PBT Ballet Training and Acrobatic Arts Coaching certification this year.

Bethan is excited to be back at the studio in September, teaching all 4 core genres of the IDTA syllabus to our children aged 2-13 years.

⭐️ MEET THE TEAM ⭐️

Miss Abbie is 20 years old & has been dancing at Miss Rachael’s School of Dance for 13 years! During her time within the school Abbie has passed IDTA examinations in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz & Theatrecraft gaining Distinctions from Preparatory through to Teaching Diploma Level. Abbie currently holds a Level 4 Teaching Diploma in Ballet & a Musical Theatre Diploma. She is currently working towards her Level 4 Theatrecraft.

Alongside her training at Miss Rachael’s School of Dance Abbie has gained her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, a BA hons in Primary Education & this year will be working towards Qualified Teaching Status and PGCE.

Abbie teaches all of our pupils from 2 years through to Seniors, in all core genres, but has a particular passion & extensive knowledge in both Ballet & Musical Theatre.

Abbie is looking forward to seeing everyone back at the studio in September.
