Over the weekend some of our members headed over to Northallerton equestrian centre to compete, and some to steward in the combined challenge qualifier, first of all I’d like to say a huge well done to all the competitors Darcie,Billie,Elija, Elizabeth, and Brooke. You all rode brilliantly. And secondly thank you to our stewards Laura, Al, and Claire

East Yorkshire RC is once again on the leaderboard, sitting proudly in 3rd place in the BRC Championship League 🥳 Well done to everyone involved, keep up the good work!

🎉We have reached the halfway point in the 2026 BRC Championship season and the league table has been updated following the Arena Eventing Championships🎉

Saffron Walden have extended their lead, but many new names have joined them in the top 10. Across all the winter championships, 75 clubs have recorded at least one top-three finish.

Please note the leaderboard includes both team and individual top 3 results in BRC Championship classes (it DOES NOT include individual arena placings - overall individuals ONLY). Where there is a tie in overall top 3 placings, team placings take priority over individual results for the final leaderboard! ⭐

We still have a few results to share from recent qualifiers and championships, so keep and eye out for more to follow. But we couldn’t wait to celebrate some fantastic news from today! Our Junior Grassroots Team, Elija Visniauskaite with JB, Lola Snowden with Hebbie, Darcie Wild with Bella, and Billie-Grace Featherstone with Corey have had an incredible day, taking the win at the Grassroots Championship! Huge congratulations to all of you, what an amazing achievement. We’re so proud!
A special shoutout to Elija, who was also crowned Overall Grassroots Champion after placing 1st with a brilliant 75.45%! This new partnership also topped their other class in the Intermediate Championship with an impressive 72.05%.

Are any riding club members interested in endurance riding?
Endurance GB hold a competition for riding clubs, with qualifying rides throughout the season culminating in the final, which this year is at Builth Wells on Sunday 27th September.

Teams can be made up of riders from multiple clubs, we already have a Yorkshire team & would welcome more members.

Rides are:
* level 1; 20-29km
* level 2; 30-40km
