🤍🖤Mya’s first Trec competition🖤🤍

It was a long day to make it happen as I went with Mya first thing and then took her home and a quick turnaround to go back with Willow 😅
Mya was beyond excited to be out! She absolutely loves pony parties and especially Trec! She did a great obedience test and MA, she put all her energy into hu***ng her way through the canter so it actually meant she scored full marks because it slowed the canter down 😆 Then she completely bossed the obstacle course! She was so bold and marched me round every obstacle with so much enthusiasm, she had me giggling all the way! We had the best time! And she only went and came 2nd!!!!!! And out of a big class as well, I couldn’t believe it, on our first attempt (I’ve never done it before either!) It fills my heart to see my girl loving life and so full of confidence, what a journey we have been on together to get to this point, my special girl with a heart so huge I’m not sure how she fits it in there ❤️

He’s doing so well in his new routine now he’s out of quarantine. Everything is all very new to him and he’s very raw with his handling but he is taking it all in and being a super brave boy ❤️ he’s such a kind and gentle soul and I’m so excited to see the horse that he grows into!

I’m so behind on posts, so much going on right now and just not enough hours in the day!

💛🖤Willow’s first Trec competition 🖤💛 (and mine!!)

Ahh she was such a superstar! Warmed up beautifully for the obedience test (dressage test) and did a lovely test! Then did the MA which is slow canter down and then fast walk back… Willow doesn’t do ‘slow’ canter 🫣 she always takes canter at a very enthusiastic pace! And did give me a decent fast walk but when you only have little legs it does limit your ground coverage 😆
She was a little unsure going out on to the obstacle course, even though we have been to a couple of Trec clinics, but once she realised that this was a very friendly competition and the judges were going to come and chat to her and encourage her, she loved that and completely took advantage of her new fan club! Thankfully we were last to go so we didn’t hold anyone else up and we completed the course at a very steady speed with lots of socialising 😆 she had the best time, she absolutely loves new admirers!

27 horses hayed
13 horses brought in and brushed
5 horses manes, tails and legs oiled
6 horses worked
And 20 tonnes of sand shovelled and raked by my own fair hands 💪
Winter prep is in full swing that’s for sure 🙌

Now I know I’ve said this quite a few times this year but I am actually full now 😆🫣…..

I just couldn’t let her pass me by! Oh gosh she even more stunning in person 😍 I’m completely in love with her already of course!
She’s 6 years old and very well handled so is more than ready to crack on and start her education! She’s cob cross and built like a tank 💪 carrying a bit too much podge 🫣 but she will soon lose that once she has a job!
She has been such a brave girl today, loaded and travelled like a pro and came off the box super chilled and was immediately wanting a fuss!
Poppy is my 90th horse that I have owned, I can’t quite believe that I have owned and worked with so many, what a journey they have all taken me on and I am so unbelievably grateful every day that all those beautiful souls have trusted me with their hearts ❤️

Thank you so much Moll and Ben Desirous Horses for trusting me with another of your beautiful babies and also I need to block you to save me from myself 😆 as I am so full now at 27 horses, I can’t possibly fit any more in!!
