Officials from Goswick Links, including Club Captain Charles Bailey and Vice-Captain Sandra McGonigle, attended the Berwick-upon-Tweed Rotary Club's presentation evening this week to jointly deliver a check for £7,500 in support of Grove Special School. These funds, as well as £1,000 to help Goswick's Junior Section continue to grow, were generated by a golf outing hosted by the Rotary and the club on 18th August.

This is just one example of Goswick's commitment to supporting the community in which it resides. Another is the club's Community Grant Fund, which is currently accepting applications from local charities that may be eligible for grants of up to £500. The deadline for applying is Friday 16th October. Please click the link to learn more.

Golf World recently released its updated Top 100 UK & Ireland list. Goswick Links isn't quite there yet, but we're getting close. Their panel ranked us at 118th, ahead of such clubs as Seaton Carew, Dundonald, Delamere Forest and Gullane No. 2. As we continue to make improvements, including a significant rerouting of the 1st hole this winter, there's every reason to believe we can gain further ground. Onward and upward!
