🎱🏆 SUMMER LEAGUE PRESENTATION & SHOOTOUT NIGHT 🏆🎱

This Saturday we’ll be wrapping up the Summer League with our Presentation Night, Top 16 Play-Offs, Team Shootout and a few extra challenges! 🍻

Unfortunately, a few players from the Top 16 are unable to attend due to holidays, work and other commitments.

To make sure we still have a full 16-player line-up, everyone who is in attendance and HAS PLAYED IN THE SUMMER LEAGUE will be entered into a random generator to fill the remaining Top 16 spots.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: To be added to the Last 16 draw, you MUST HAVE PLAYED IN THE SUMMER LEAGUE. This is only open to players who took part in the league.

So if you played in the Summer League but didn’t originally make the Top 16, get yourself down — you could still end up in the Play-Offs! 👀🎱

Jody takes on Niall McCarthy in what is expected to be an absolute massive game of pool — Race to 21! 🔥🎱

The match was originally expected to take place in Pocket, but due to circumstances outside of our control, it has now been moved to The West Club.
And we’ll be there in numbers, getting right behind Jody and making plenty of noise! 💪

Just a quick follow-up with the details for tomorrow.

🎱 Entry into the flyer is £25 per player.

Whether you're playing or not, everyone is welcome to come along. Spectators are more than welcome to enjoy the pre-rave, have a few drinks, soak up the atmosphere, and cheer the players on throughout the day.

Let's make the best of the situation, get behind the club, and have a cracking day together.

Unfortunately, due to Dr bottling it against Tony, and the only viable replacement deciding not to play in the club despite previously posting publicly in support of it, we've had to change our plans.

Rather than let the day be a complete loss, we've decided to turn it into a pre-rave and flyer at the club. Most, if not all, of Tony's supporters and backers were planning to start at the club anyway, so this gives everyone somewhere to get together. It also means our DJ doesn't lose a day's pay and the club isn't left with stock sitting behind the bar.

A huge thank you to the many pool players, club owners, and members of the wider pool community who went out of their way to help us find a replacement. The amount of support we've received has been incredible, and it genuinely means a lot. Unfortunately, despite everyone's efforts, it's the club that ultimately loses out.

That said, we're not letting it ruin the day. Let's get together, have a great time, support the club, and make the best of the situation.

Hopefully we'll see you all at the club tomorrow.

THE BIG GAME IS OFF.

Absolutely gutted doesn't even begin to describe it.

Less than 24 hours before the Tony Daly vs Ryan Birt match, The Doctor has pulled out due to a lack of backing on their end.

After weeks of preparation, countless hours of practice, taking time off work, stocking the bar, booking the DJ and referee, and the huge effort of collecting £10,000 in backing—it's all been thrown away at the last minute.

From where we're standing, it looks like The Doctor has bottled it. Everyone can make up their own mind, but pulling out the day before the game, after all the build-up, is incredibly disappointing and unfair on everyone who put their time, money, and effort into making this happen.

To everyone who bought into the event and supported us, we're truly sorry. You deserved better than this.

If anyone knows of a fair replacement opponent for Tony Daly, get in touch with Gerry immediately. The show isn't dead if we can get someone willing to step up.
