While we have seen the end of the premier league, Rory winning the Masters, a glorious Wimbledon fortnight and the World Cup coming to a conclusion something much more important has being going on at the home of indoor bowls.
Our summer leagues have been playing drawing record numbers with lots of new members playing alongside our stalwarts.
In the Wednesday league we have John Stewart leading the way over Frank Agnew by 4 points
Friday has Lawrence Long ahead but only on shot difference over Billy McConkey with Adrian Mulhern a point behind.
The stadium has seen huge interest in casual bowls over the summer unprecedented in recent years which augurs well for the new season.
We will be announcing open days which are free of charge for you to enjoy shortly, together with news of our first event celebrating our 60th anniversary.
In the meantime enjoy the glorious weather and feel free to pop down for a roll up we are open from 9:30 am until 2pm Monday to Friday.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Bangor tournament particularly valued Belfast Indoor Bowling Club member Kris McKee who along with his team worked so hard to make the 80th running of the event so successful.
We had some winners from the club in Daniel Spratt and Peter Haughey who combined with friends from the Co Antrim stadium to win the fours.
A special shout out to Gareth McKee and Glenn Brown from this parish who got to the final of both the pairs and triples only to be pipped at the post.
The club were delighted to be one of the co sponsors and we are pleased to hear that so many participants intend to join and rejoin Belfast Indoor Bowling Club for our own 60th anniversary this year.

The club were delighted to host the Australian Boxing squad who were in Belfast preparing for the upcoming Commonwealth games in Glasgow.
The squad enjoyed some coaching from Chris and Sandra.
From now on a heavy draw will be called an upper cut a toucher a hook and a wick off three bowls from a yard out a kidney punch π«£π.
The club would like to thank the team for their enthusiasm and coming along and good luck in the games.

A master craftsman at work. Davy Livingston, one of our longest serving Belfast Indoor Bowling Club members is seen plying his trade at the Bangor Open.
Sadly Davy will not be seen in the later rounds, however a quick call to President Trump may change that π«£ππ
A wonderful day of bowling with many of our members excelling and going through to the knockout stages.
