There is a vibrant Irish Para bowls community and yesterday they held the first Irish National Singles Championship at the Grove in Belfast.

Organised by our own Chris Mulholland and good friend of the stadium Ian McClure the event showed off bowls of the highest quality.

BIBC are delighted to have had many participants 💖 with members Michael Reid and Peter Cullinan both winning runner up silverware.

Our Para community including those who are visually impaired form a very important part of Irish bowls and is an area that Belfast Indoor Bowling Club is very supportive of.

If you have a disability and want to try out bowls we would encourage you to get in touch with the club we would love to introduce you to our wonderful sport.
