This is our health is a public conversation about how we can work together to help people in Northern Ireland live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Most of what shapes our health happens in everyday life, at home, with family and in our communities. Itβs not just when we come into contact with health and social care services.
At the same time, there are moments when services matter hugely, and when they need to work well, quickly and reliably.
This work is about understanding both and exploring where each of us is best placed to make a difference.

Today we were delighted to welcome the fantastic Autonomie Belfast group to Fit4Life Belfast for their very first gym session.
It was incredible to see everyone getting involved, building confidence, and achieving things they never thought were possible. From using gym equipment independently to trying new exercises, every participant showed determination, enthusiasm and a willingness to challenge themselves.
As a community-based gym, we're proud to provide an inclusive environment where fitness is for everyone. No matter your background, ability or experience, everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of exercise. With the right support, encouragement and a welcoming space, anyone can train in the gym and achieve more than they ever imagined.
A huge thank you to Autonomie Belfast for the amazing work they do in supporting young adults with learning disabilities, and well done to everyone who took part today. We can't wait to see you all again!
Today's session was led by coaches Gareth and Michael.
If you're part of a community group, school, organisation or support service and think something like this would benefit your members, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with the page and we can design a bespoke fitness programme tailored to your group's needs, regardless of age, ability or previous gym experience. At Fit4Life Belfast, we believe fitness should be accessible to everyone. ππͺ
