What a wonderful celebration of our centenary at Shandon Park Golf Club we all enjoyed into the small hours!

Superb entertainment - from 6pm until very late - from singers Michael Warke and the Mark Fenn Duo, Jimi and the Houserockers and the Backbone Blues Band and - all rounded off by the maestro DJ Jerry Lang.

And we had hugely popular and scrumsiously tasty food options from Brownes Chippy Van, Sweet & Savoury Crepe Guys, Lasa Philipino Cuisine and Cafollas Ice Cream.

Thanks to all our partners and of course to our hardworking staff and volunteer committee members for making it a wonderful celebration.

And finally, hats off 🧢 to Club Captain Graeme Baker, whose brainchild the event was.

💛⛳ More representative honours for the women at Shandon Park! Go Chloe Weir! ⛳💛

Following yesterday's announcement celebrating Dianne Conway's selection for Ireland, we are delighted to share more fantastic news for Shandon Park Golf Club.

A huge congratulations to Chloe Weir on her selection to represent Ulster at the Women's Interprovincial Championships, taking place at Knightsbrook Golf Club from 8 -10 July.

Representing your province is one of the highest honours in amateur golf, and we are incredibly proud to see Chloe earn another well-deserved call-up to the Ulster Women's team. 👏

This latest selection is another milestone in Chloe's outstanding golfing journey. Having previously represented both Ireland and Ulster before going on to compete in NCAA Division I golf on a scholarship at Kansas State University, Chloe has continued to demonstrate the talent, dedication and determination that have established her as one of Ireland's leading amateur golfers. 🌟🏌️‍♀️

The Interprovincial Championships bring together the very best amateur golfers from across Ireland, with Ulster looking to defend the title they won last year. 🏆

Everyone at Shandon Park wishes Chloe and the entire Ulster team every success over the three days of competition. We know Chloe will once again be a fantastic ambassador for both her province and our Club. 💛
