🏌️‍♀️ The New Dunmurry Cup returns on Thursday 13th August!

This fun mixed foursomes competition is open to all members and will be played over 14 holes, with tee times available from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

The sign-up sheet is now available on the noticeboard in the clubhouse. Don't have a partner? Simply add your name to the sheet and the Golf Committee will do their best to pair you up ahead of the event.

Dunmurry makes it three in a row!

The Ulster Final of the Peggy Nelson took place on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th July 2026 at Dunmurry Golf Club.

It was the hosts Dunmurry that set the early clubhouse lead on the Monday with a score of 88 points. Despite a number of teams coming close, and setting scores of 87 points (Blacklion) and 86 points (Strabane), and Warrenpoint on the Tuesday, it was the hosts that came out on top to hold onto the Peggy Nelson Salver for another year, making it three wins in a row after last winning it in 2006.

Congratulations to the winning team of Laura Cathcart, Moira Quail and Ethel McNeill, and special congratulations goes to Laura Cathcart who has been on the winning team now for three years running! 👏🏌️‍♀️

Yesterday saw the Paula Lavery Trophy played at Dunmurry Golf Club, held in memory of our much loved member Paula Lavery.

Congratulations to Patricia Lundy, the first ever winner of the Paula Lavery Trophy, pictured with Lady Captain Helen McHugh and President Hilary Brady.

A sincere thank you to Conor and the entire Lavery family for joining us to present the trophy and helping make the day so special.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, a fantastic amount was raised for Marie Curie.

Our Fred Daly team are through to the semi-final!

A huge congratulations to our Junior Fred Daly team, who produced two excellent performances this weekend to beat Fortwilliam and book their place in the semi-final.

The team got off to the perfect start with an outstanding 5-0 victory in the home leg on Saturday before travelling to Fortwilliam on Monday, where they held their nerve to secure another impressive win and complete the job.

Well done to all the players on a fantastic run so far, and a big thank you to everyone who came along to support the team. Best of luck in the next round! 👏⛳💪

A fantastic away day for the Dunmurry Juniors took place recently at Bushfoot Golf Club.

A big thank you to the parents for getting everyone there and helping out around the course, and to the Junior Committee members who were on hand throughout the day.

We also extend our thanks to Bushfoot Lady President, Lady Captain Paula and the Bushfoot Ladies for their warm welcome and all their help with organising the day.

After the golf, everyone enjoyed a delicious carvery meal with their families, thanks to the catering team.

The Juniors thoroughly enjoyed a brilliant day out!

A fantastic day at Dunmurry yesterday as our ladies took part in the annual Play in Pink competition, raising funds for Pretty n Pink, Breast Cancer Charity. 🌸⛳

Congratulations to Joni Chan, who won with an excellent 38 points, with Hilary Ferguson finishing runner-up. Congratulations also to Patricia Brennan, who won the prize for Best Dressed.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped support such a worthwhile cause.
