As*xuality is often misunderstood, but every ace person’s experience is unique. 💜

We hope this helps make being ace a little more visible, understood and celebrated.

Whether you’re ace, questioning or just looking for information, we’re here for you. Our services are free and confidential for under 25s.

Our Participation Group had a wee catch-up at the weekend to share ideas and chat about what’s coming up at Common Youth! 💬🧋

🌈 We’re excited for , walking together and all the brilliant events ahead.

We also chatted about upcoming opportunities to get involved in research groups, events and we even chose our summer read, The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson…keep your eyes peeled for more info from the bookclub.

And, of course, no catch-up would be complete without some 🍦☀️

A wee look at what we’ve been up to lately… 👀📸

From RSE sessions and new resources to getting out and about at plenty of amazing events, we’ve been keeping busy!

☀️ And just because it’s summer doesn’t mean our RSE groups stop. We’re calling on youth clubs across NI who’d like us to deliver our four-week RSE programme.

Could the young people you work with benefit from workshops around consent, s*xual health and healthy relationships?

🤰🏽Having a baby doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant again straight away.

Even if you’re breastfeeding or your period hasn’t returned, pregnancy is still possible.

If you have questions about contraception, pregnancy or your options, Common Youth is here with free, confidential support.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride is about celebrating who you are and challenging stigma wherever it exists.

This Pride, we’re sharing an important message from :

Undetectable = Untransmittable.

If a person living with HIV is on effective treatment, this leads to an undetectable viral load which means they cannot pass HIV on through s*x.

Knowing the facts helps break down stigma, encourages people to get tested, and reminds us that everyone deserves dignity, respect and love.

So this Pride, let’s catch ourselves up on HIV, challenge outdated myths, and support a community where everyone belongs. 🌈
