Images from the weekend’s football in Dublin where we had 2 teams competing for the Marc Bigger & Remembrance Cups. A fantastic two days of competition to remember our friends and teammates who have left us too soon.

A great first day at the Remembrance Tournament at the National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown. Looking forward to another day of action all over again tomorrow.

Today we celebrate the 30th Heavenly Birthday of our dear friend and teammate Marc. He is always on our minds and will be forever in our hearts. Rest easy mate.

The team is going to Dublin at the weekend to play in the Marc Bigger Cup and the Remembrance Cup as we remember Marc and all of the players who have graced our lives. He will be upmost on our minds as we take to the pitch to play the sport he loved so much. I’m sure he’ll be looking down with that smile on his face and cheering for all of the players.

Belated Birthday Wishes on his 24th To Owen our number 5, we all hope you had a wonderful day young man.

Everyone here at Trailblazers would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Rueben and his family on the passing of his Grandmother. We offer our prayers and will keep you all in our thoughts at this difficult time. May she Rest In Peace.

Best of luck to Trailblazers Ethan, Reuben, Patrick and Scott as they travel to Largs in Scotland to play in the Home Nations. They will be playing alongside Kyle from Middlesbrough and Bartek from Lightning. The guys will be competing against Ireland, Scotland and current champions England for the prestigious trophy. Hopefully the tournament will be streamed and we will post a link 🔗 here to support the team. GAWA 🟢⚪️🔵.

So we didn't get the results we wanted on our last day of the season but we will be back next year stronger to go again. A massive congratulations to the 25\26 AIPF Premier League Champions Heroes Powerchair Football and runners up Midlands United on a very successful season. A 1-0 loss in Trailblazers final game of the season against the eventual champions meant we didn't get to retain our title. Fire had two hard games to end the season against M and F United and eventual champions Heroes Powerchair Football and unfortunately didn't come away with the win. We gave everything but it doesn't always work out so we will use the experience to build on and come back stronger. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the effort this season, without the dedication of everyone involved in making it happen the teams wouldn't have the opportunity to get to this stage. To our player's we want to say thankyou for all the effort this season, we're all so proud of you for everything you have done to make our club who we are. Onwards and upwards. We would also like to thank all of you for the support this year, we really appreciate all the likes and comments over the season, it doesn't go unnoticed. And last but not least thankyou to Newforge Sports Complex and Event Hub for all the support over the season, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much to ask. It's a pleasure to have such an amazing facility as our home venue.
