McCullagh's Boxing Club

How do ya even start a post like this? There are no words...
The family, committee, coaches and everyone at the club are devastated by the sudden passing of "wee Paul" ( even though he was head and shoulders taller than us all). A true gentleman, softly spoken outside of the ring, yet a fierce opponent inside it. Paul fought until the end. Fearlessly, keeping his unwavering faith.

We would like to thank everyone for their support at this heartbreaking time and ask you to keep his parents, Paul and Paula, his partner Yoli and son Dario, his sisters, nephew and all the family and friends in your prayers.

Back in the arms of his granny and granda.

𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝟒 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟑𝐫𝐝 (𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞. Paul will leave on Tuesday 6th January at 9.15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Luke’s Church, followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.

Remember folks, our 10 week junior boxing course starts tonight. Everyone welcome 😁

Sooooo.... What a night last night. The club had two lads in the Antrim finals at Brooke, (not so) wee Anto and young Cory. Boy did these lads turn up. Absolutely smashing performance from both young men. We could not have asked for any more from these two. Anto walks away with silver and new Antrim champ for Cory. Massive congratulations from everyone at the club 🙌🏼😁

Productive night for the team tonight 😁 massive well done to our 2 new Antrim 12 champions, Luke and Jamie 🙌🏽😁 we couldn't be more proud. All their hard work and dedication paid off. Thanks to everyone for your support, it doesn't go unnoticed 👌🏽😊

Big well done and congratulations to our Luke McCann. New Antrim 6 champion. After a very tight semi final last night, he went out tonight and put on a show. No doubt the winner tonight.
