Ballymoney B – 91 shots vs Ewarts A – 49 shots

This was a difficult afternoon for Ewarts A who lost convincingly against Ballymoney B. Ballymoney played some great bowls throughout the afternoon and were just too good for Ewarts.

This was the first visit to Ballymoney Bowling Club for most of the Ewarts team and we were impressed by the facilities and thoroughly enjoyed playing on the green. We would like to thank Ballymoney Bowling Club for their hospitality and wish them good luck in the next round of the Cup.

Division 4

Ewarts B – 6.5 points vs CI Knock B 0.5 points

Well done to Ewarts B who won their second match in a week! It was another great performance by the team who have been getting better each week. I have been told that Richard Bell played extremely well and was Man of the Match!

Division 4

Hilden B – 0 points (46 shots) vs Ewarts B – 7 points (82 shots)

Well done to Ewarts B team, who had a fantastic win on Tuesday night against Hilden B team. This was a well-deserved win, with all rinks getting their point. This was the B team’s first win of the season and hopefully more will follow!

Division 1 – Midweek

Pickie 1 point (59 shots) vs Ewarts - 6 points (65shots)

Ewarts were away to Pickie on what was a bit of a wet and miserable evening. The green played very well considering the rainfall and the bowls played were at a high standard. It was a great performance by the team to get 6 points away from home. Next week Ewarts play Ballymena at home.

Division 2

Ewarts A - 6.5 points (81 shots) vs Ballymena B – 0.5 points (68 shots)

Ewarts A continued their winning streak with an unexpected win against Ballymena B who are sitting 3rd in the league table. All Ewarts rinks played extremely well, and they will be hoping to continue their good run of form when the play Ballymoney B team on Saturday 4th July in the Irish Intermediate Cup.

Division 4

Comber – 6 points (94 shots) vs Ewarts B – 1 point (62 shots)

Ewarts B came away with just one point this weekend against Comber, with Malcolm Buchanan’s rink getting the win. The team are playing again on Tuesday 30th June against Hilden B at 6.30pm.
