IMPORTANT UPDATE
Cancellation: 2026 1K Classic
Due to forecast adverse weather conditions, the organising committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s event.
Strong and sustained winds are expected at Lough Rinn, with gusts up to 60 km/h on Saturday and 40–45 km/h on Sunday, creating unsafe and unmanageable racing conditions.
Following review of Met Éireann forecasts, safety must remain the priority. We appreciate the huge preparation and travel plans made by clubs, athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers.
Sincere thanks to all involved and to Leitrim County Council and local suppliers for their support. We will explore the possibility of rescheduling at a later date.

Our beginner group got started yesterday and did a fantastic job, great energy and teamwork from everyone involved!
Huge thanks to our amazing coaches and volunteers for making it all happen and helping bring more people into the sport.
