Upcoming dates for Alzheimer’s Society’s Carer Information and Support Programme (CrISP).

CrISP aims to improve the knowledge, skills and understanding of people caring for someone living with dementia by providing effective support and up to date and relevant information.

The programme is delivered over 2 sessions, with each session lasting just over 2 hours. Topics covered include understanding dementia, providing support and care (communication, difficulties someone with dementia encounters, etc.), legal and financial matters (EPA, controllership, benefits) and services and support available.

The RSVP date for July online programme is Friday 24th July at 12 noon. I will be in contact with the carer to confirm suitability and share the zoom link once they are registered.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If these dates do not suit, I will be in contact with the carer to find a suitable time for them on our other upcoming programmes.

Day 4 of the Scéim Samhraidh and the kids went to the cinema to watch Toy Story 5.

The Herron Family are raffling off two AIl Hurling Final Tickets in aid of Ciarla’s Next Steps.

They have a scratch card with 100 numbers on it and people pick a number between 1 and 100 and when they are sold we scratch the card and the winning number is revealed. Tickets cost £20 and payment should be made via paypal using [email protected]

Day 3 at the Scéim Samhraidh and we had a visit from an artist. Played mini World Cup and took part in some céilí and Irish dancing

Congratulations to popular senior footballer Ryan Murray and Niamh Bunting who recently got married. Wishing Ryan and Niamh a lifetime of happiness together.

Fantastic first day at the scéim Samhraidh. The kids enjoyed a waterfall walk, GAA, the play park and also started to learn the National Anthem.

Great turnout from the Fundamentals squad this morning for a fun filled session developing all the core skills for gaelic games.

Great Under 6 Boys dual session this morning - the skills are growing week on week with great enthusiasm and effort on the pitch.
