FIRST LEAGUE GAME OF THE SEASON🟠⚫️

This week the team take on Kelvin old boys FC, last seasons runners up and a good side that will bring a challenge for the team.

As always all support is welcome and no doubt it will be a great day at Haslett Park as always⚽️

On a much less positive note, this week the team say goodbye to goalkeeper Charlie Smyth as he takes on a new opportunity at H&W Welders. Charlie will be missed by everyone within the team and the management however, we wish him all the best with his new team 🧡

🚨⚽️ BIG NEWS FOR BARN UNITED FC! ⚽️🚨

We are absolutely delighted to announce that this morning Barn United FC received confirmation that our planning application has been APPROVED! 🎉🙌

That means planning permission has now officially been granted for us to replace our existing grass pitch with a brand-new, state-of-the-art 3G pitch! 🌱➡️🏟️

This is a massive milestone for our club and something that we have been working incredibly hard towards. We formed a sub committee of both Senior Club & Youth Academy members, who have all done their bit to ensure this is a success, and we remain as ‘One Club’ going forward 🧡🖤

A new 3G facility will be a game-changer for our club, providing our players and teams with a fantastic, all-weather facility and helping us continue to grow and develop football within our community. ⚽️

But now… the hard work really begins…

We are now ALL SYSTEMS GO with our fundraising campaign, with an initial target of £50,000. This will allow us to make our application to the IFA in 2027 for grant funding towards the construction of the new pitch.

We are going to need the support of our players, parents, coaches, members, local businesses, sponsors and the wider community to make this happen.

There will be plenty of fundraising opportunities and events announced over the coming months, and we would love everyone to get behind the campaign.

Now let’s raise that £50,000 and take the next step towards giving our club the facility it deserves! 🔥⚽️
