T2 Match Summary

BISC won the toss and elected to field first, making the most of the overcast conditions. The decision paid off immediately as our bowlers came out firing. Manu once again provided the perfect start, claiming the first breakthrough in the third over. Although the CI batters steadied the innings with a 30-run partnership, Pratik broke the stand at the right time, triggering a collapse.

From there, our bowlers maintained relentless pressure, giving the opposition no room to recover and bowling them out for just 76. Sunil was the standout performer with an exceptional spell of 4 wickets for 11 runs in 6 overs, while Pratik impressed with 3 wickets for 15 runs in his 6 overs. Gopu and Vinod chipped in with a wicket each to complete a clinical bowling performance. Restricting CI to 76 was far below what we had anticipated at the start of the day.

Chasing a modest target, we saw an opportunity to improve our Net Run Rate and approached the innings with positive intent. Vinci Bhai and Rakesh provided a blistering start, setting the tone from the outset. Sudeep and Selva then finished the chase in style with a flurry of boundaries, taking us home in just 8.3 overs.

A dominant all-round performance with both bat and ball resulted in a comprehensive victory and a valuable boost to our Net Run Rate.

Match Summary
BISC 3rd XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers Poorna and Selva gave the team a solid start, but wickets began to fall at regular intervals. Gopal and Chetan played useful cameos to keep the scoreboard moving, although the batting side continued to lose wickets.

Faizan then played a crucial innings, facing 39 balls and holding one end together, allowing Karamveer to bat superbly according to the match situation. Karamveer's composed knock ensured BISC finished with a competitive total of 160 runs.

Defending the target, Gopal provided the perfect start by picking up an early breakthrough in the very first over. Samrat bowled an economical spell that created pressure from the other end. In the middle overs, Praveen and Satya bowled brilliantly to restrict the scoring, while Chetan and Karamveer continued the pressure with disciplined spells that ultimately helped BISC bowl the opposition out for 148, securing a 12-run victory.

The fielding performance was outstanding throughout the innings. Satya took a brilliant catch that lifted the team, and special appreciation goes to Faizan and Rakeeb Bhai for their excellent commitment and energy in the field.

T2 Match Summary:

BISC won the toss and elected to bowl first against the mighty, undefeated Instonians.

Manu gave us the perfect start by striking with the very first wicket of the match, setting the tone early. We picked up another wicket in the second over, immediately putting Instonians on the back foot. Although they tried to rebuild their innings, our bowlers maintained disciplined lines and lengths, never allowing them to settle.

The breakthrough in the 11th over came through Vinod, while Pratik, Sasi, Sunil, and Chetan bowled with excellent control, giving the opposition very little room to score freely. Our bowling effort was backed by outstanding fielding, with sharp catches taken by Chetan and Sunil. At the end of the first innings, we restricted the mighty Instonians to 146, a total we were confident of chasing.

The chase began with Rakesh and Vinci Bhai. Vinci Bhai took the attack to the bowlers from the outset, playing a superb knock of 58 off 50 balls. He was well supported by valuable partnerships with Rakesh and Pratik, which laid a solid foundation for the chase.

Chetan was promoted up the order to accelerate the scoring, and he rose to the occasion brilliantly, remaining unbeaten on 32 off just 21 balls to guide BISC home. We chased down the target with two balls to spare, securing a memorable 4-wicket victory.

This win was a strong statement from BISC—a fitting response to Instonians after the heavy defeat we suffered in our first meeting. The team showed tremendous character, discipline, and belief to hand the previously unbeaten Instonians their first loss.

T1 match Summary vs CSNI(Stormont):-

One of the best grounds we all look forward to playing on, and after winning the toss, I had no hesitation in choosing to bat first as the conditions were heavily in favour of the batters.

Our openers Virat and Vishad gave us a solid foundation before Guru took centre stage with a magnificent maiden century. His innings was a joy to watch, with every shot looking effortless and perfectly timed. Supported by a few valuable partnerships throughout the innings, we posted a commanding total of 255.

With the ball, our opening bowlers, Viswa and Adarsh, were outstanding as usual. Their disciplined bowling never allowed the opposition batters to settle or play their natural game. Their accuracy paid off with early wickets and immediately put the opposition under pressure.

From there, the opposition found themselves on the back foot and struggled to recover. Although they managed to build one promising partnership, it was quickly brought to an end when Adarsh and Viswa returned to the attack. After that, we maintained control and never let them back into the contest.

Overall, it was a fantastic team performance, great batting, disciplined bowling, excellent fielding, and some brilliant catches. Most importantly, the victory takes us through to the Junior Cup Quarter-Finals.
