We are back in 2 WEEKS!

Start your west coast swing journey every Wednesday night!

On Wednesday 9th September we will run a fun intro class for just £5.*
The class will start at 8pm, doors open from 7:50pm.

At 8:45 pm - 10pm there will be social dancing.
Come along, brings friends, family or strangers!

*regular classes will resume from the following week.

Leaders... if you’ve ever watched someone and wondered “How does everything look so effortless?” 👀 This is your chance to learn from one of the world’s most respected West Coast Swing All Stars. Mathieu Compagnon has spent years travelling the globe competing, judging and teaching at the highest level, and this Saturday he’ll be in Belfast alongside Ireland’s own All Star, Gráinne Farrell. Whether you’re chasing your first competition final or simply want to become the leader everyone wants to dance with, these workshops will give you tools you can use immediately. Places are limited, so don’t miss out.

Just 2 and a half weeks ago I travelled to New York to work on a show that was a response to those words. Fredrick Douglass, a slave who fled America and became an abolitionist, traveled and arrived in Belfast and Belfast welcomed him, we said NO to the slave trade, NO to slave labour. Just before we launched this show ; North Star in Belfast in 2024 there were race riots and here we are again!

What happened was horrific, I condemn it and the perpetrator should spend the rest of his years in jail. But one man does not equal all men!

We are sadly cancelling our class tonight for the safety of our community.

Community: that’s what we have, a bright colourful mix of culture, race and creed- you are welcome and you make our dance scene better for your presence in it. Know that we are your allies!

Please stay safe everyone and we will dance again next week.
