💗🥎 Engaging Women in Sport: A Collaborative Workshop 🥎💗

We are excited to invite you to join us for an important engagement session delivered by SportEd, focused on 'Engaging Women in Sport.' This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, share diverse perspectives, and collaboratively explore how we can strengthen participation and create more inclusive environments across all our clubs.

We recognize that Wednesday evenings are a busy time for many teams, but we are united by a shared vision: reaching a 5:5 gender balance across all our teams. This goal reflects the core values of equality and opportunity that define coed softball. Whether your club is looking to boost recruitment or simply wants to foster a more welcoming space for women in sport, your voice is vital. Let’s work together to make our league stronger and more inclusive than ever—we hope to see you there!

Division B kicked off today with a trio of fixtures all in the 2pm slot. The bats showed no rust as they were back in full swing.

What a day! Start of Season was a great day, good weather (more sun 🌞 would have been great!), even better play. We saw an unprecedented number of MVP candidates and some big upsets that reflected the growth both in number of players and their quality.

After winning out in the group stages the first place showdown between the Cubs & BSC2 did not disappoint going to extra innings. In the end BSC2 emerged the victors at 9-8. 🏆

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped facilitate a great tournament. The real winner as always was our softball community. The leagues kick off in the coming week and if the tournament was anything to go by it should be a belter! Let's go SU 2026 🥳
