A brilliant performance from our young ladies on Tuesday night against a well-organised Berlin Swifts side. 💙⚽️

The final score didn’t tell the full story. We enjoyed plenty of possession, created a number of good chances, and kept the Berlin goalkeeper busy throughout. It was an entertaining game for everyone watching and another great advert for women’s football, with two developing teams continuing to grow and compete.

💙💙MATCH REPORT💙💙

Another tough fixture for the ladies on Tuesday as we faced a well-organised Crewe side.

We knew it was always going to be a challenging game with two players feeling under the weather, our youngest squad of the season taking to the pitch, and the hot conditions adding to the test.

Crewe took an early lead, but the girls responded immediately to level the score before going on to take the lead shortly after. Crewe battled back to make it all square again, setting up an entertaining contest.

The girls showed tremendous character, especially when we were reduced to nine players for a period following an injury to Emma. Despite the setback, the team continued to battle hard and were unlucky not to come away with at least a point. Crewe had to defend relentlessly as we pushed for an equaliser right until the final whistle, but unfortunately, we just couldn’t find the net.

Final Score: Crewe 3-2

Special mentions go to Ruby and Carys, who both completed the full 90 minutes despite feeling unwell, Lexi for stepping into goal, and Emma for showing great determination to return to the pitch for the closing stages.
