Mental health affects everyone, some can shake it off with an attitude of let’s get on with it, but not everyone is as fortunate as that…. Our minds are a very fragile thing and we can all get to dark places which seem to have no way out…… Always remember there is an out… Ards Su***de Awareness Group are one of many….dont be scared to talk and reach out.
This is why in memory of my daughter I will tackle a 24 hr Enduro, as many laps as possible in a 24 hr period and fund raise for this great cause of Su***de Awareness and prevention…. If our fund raising can help save one life…that life will save another….together we can bring hope.

4 months ago my family suffered our worst nightmare. The support I have recioeved from the off road biking community has been unbelievable and very humbling. It has also helped me through some dark times and for that I am eternally grateful.

To that end in memory of Regan I intend to ride the 24hr solo Dawn to Dusk Enduro in Wales on the 29th/30th August. Basically as many laps as I can in the 24hrs.

I want to raise some money for the Ards Su***de Awareness Group . Money raised helps this charity provide vital counselling and care. If you would like to donate please send to PayPal.me/nioffroad

Already even before I made this public announcement I was approached on Saturday at the play day and recieved a generous donation...... the gentlman knows who he is and thank you so much you have started the ball rolling.

Again we must thank everyone for the continued support.
Currently we are looking to get back at it very soon...and we do have some good news coming.

Great to see so many of the wee wheeled warriors (some not so wee anymore lol) at the Carrick Youth Grasstrack last night and fair play to the youngsters riding in those conditions. This was the sort of thing that reminded me why we must get back at it.

As I said some good exciting news coming with our journey to help young ones enjoy the wonderful world of dirt biking.

We will have a packed night of racing for our youth with an adult enduro support class.

The youth event will include the Robert Blair Cup - a gentleman that supported the grassroots of our club.

Alongside the youth we will have our amazing enduro riders supporting the youth in memory of our friend Barry Martin.

Quick update.

Thank you to everyone for their support during this very difficult time for our family.

We hope to be back very soon as I know my daughter Regan was very proud of what we were trying to achieve. To that end in her memory it is important we continue to get back to helping develop the Wee Wheeled Warriors on their dirt bike journey.

This is a lovely gesture in memory of my daughter, Regan, who we lost suddenly almost 8 weeks ago...

The very best of luck to young Charlie Wilkin with his racing this season.

Please look out for each other as the signs are not always visible...

Keep well everyone and please be assured in time we will be back at it as I know my daughter was extremely proud of what we were doing with NI Offroad and that is more than a good reason for us to continue in her memory.

GIVING KIDS THE ULTIMATE MX EXPERIENCE

We supply the bike, as well as all the protective and necessary MX gear to wear, including Helmet and Boots

The cost is £70 per rider, this includes the basic training and instructions to get the rider competent before going on to the Track
