This Saturday sees the start of the SBYL season for our 11-a-side boys squads.

🔴🔵 2012𝘀 – 𝗦𝗕𝗬𝗟 𝗨15 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
The 2012s travel to Carrick Leisure Centre to take on Carrick Rangers.

🔴🔵 2013𝘀 – 𝗦𝗕𝗬𝗟 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 14 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 2
The 2013s travel to Billy Neill Playing Fields to face Portavogie Rangers.

🔴⚪🔵 𝗡𝗔𝗙𝗟 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗱𝘀

This weekend sees the start of the NAFL season for both our First and Second Teams.

The First Team will compete in NAFL Division 2C, while the Seconds will be playing in NAFL Division 3F.

A lot of hard work, preparation and commitment has gone in over pre-season from players, coaches and volunteers to get both squads ready for the season ahead. We feel we have strong squads in place, a solid management setup, and are looking forward to the challenges ahead.

The fixtures for the opening three weeks of the season are posted below.

We're also still on the lookout for both experienced and new players. Whether you're looking to get back into football or are searching for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

A reminder that Sandy Row FC's Annual General Meeting takes place 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 at 𝟴:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 in the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯.

As the club continues to grow, we are always keen to welcome new people with fresh ideas and enthusiasm to help move Sandy Row FC forward.

𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝟐

The 1sts ended pre season with a hard fought, well earned victory against Castle Juniors at Blanchflower today.

Goals from Graham Davison, Dylan Rodgers, Spud Hamilton, W***y McKnight and Tyler Ross seen us take the win. Attention now turns to next week and the beginning of the league season.

The 1sts conclude their pre season schedule with a home game against Castle Juniors today.

With the league season upon us from next week, the lads will be hoping to continue the recent good form against tough opposition today 🔴🔵

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗖 𝗔𝗚𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Sandy Row FC will hold its Annual General Meeting at 8pm on Wednesday 2nd September at 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯.

As the club continues to grow and expand, we are always looking for forward-thinking people who can bring new ideas, skills and enthusiasm to help drive Sandy Row FC forward, both on and off the pitch.

Anyone interested in getting involved with the club is welcome to come along on the night or get in touch beforehand.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗸, 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗻!

Everyone at Sandy Row FC would like to congratulate former Academy player Jayden McDowell on signing for Linfield Swifts, where he joins his cousin Leyton Hutton, who was also a former Sandy Row Academy player.

After two years at Larne and a summer spent in America on a football scholarship, Jayden has earned this opportunity through hard work, dedication and commitment to his football.
A talented player with great ability on the ball, Jayden has always backed up his talent with a fantastic attitude and work ethic. This move is thoroughly deserved.

We're also delighted to see Jayden included in the Linfield Swifts squad for tonight's game against Limavady at Midgley Park.

Good luck, Jayden. We're all proud of you and wish you every success in the future 🔴🔵⚽️

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kelvin Old Boys First Team Manager, Barry Lavery, following the passing of his father Craig Cooper this week.
