Our U18 Floodlit side start their campaign Off tomorrow night at the Anco Stadium, Ampthill. It’s a 7:30pm KO against Bedford Town Fc u18. Admission £3, Bar and Cafe open from 6:30pm. 💛💙💛. COYA

Amps continue to collect points with a late winner at Burton Park Wanderers. A great comeback from the Amps who were frustrated all afternoon by a resolute and determined display from BPW. A good finish from the BPW No9 early in the 1st half put Ampthill behind in Northamptonshire and despite creating several chances they could not convert. The second half continued prove frustrating for the Amps as several good chances were defended well by BPR, with Amps hitting the Bar and post late into the half. The equaliser finally came after sustained pressure, a corner was won by Harry Buckley in a crowded box and Freddie knight pounced on the loose ball to prod the ball home on 87mins. Amps were not finished and sought a winner, Sam Holmes outpaced the BpR defender and GK to a long through ball, getting taken out on the process, Penalty Amps - Kelvin Ossei-Addo duly stroked it into the net to seal the 3pts and a fifth straight win for the Amps. MotM - The Anco Away Days MotM goes to Captain Phil Draycott. A proper Captains performance, driving his side forward to the end to secure the win. COYA 💛💙💛. Next up is another journey to Northamptonshire as we travel to Woodford United on 5th September.

Another win and the 3pts to Ampthill Town last night in a deserved 1-0 win over New Bradwell St Peter’s at the Anco Stadium. A well contested match saw Ampthill have the better of the first half, creating several chances and being rewarded with a goal from New Signing Matt Moloney. The second half was much the same, New Bradwell pressed in the latter stages but never really forced a save from Amps No1 Mitch Howe. Amps take the 3pts and go top of the league!
