What exactly can a 3-year old learn at Jiu Jitsu?

Let us explain…

There’s the usual building of confidence and the making of friends, but Jiu Jitsu is a life-skill.

At Jiu Jitsu Tots your child will learn how to fall safely, how to get back up and how to control and move their body through space by rolling and tumbling.

Then there’s the Jiu Jitsu.

They’ll learn the guard, how to pin and hold-down an opponent and they’ll learn to escape from any pin.

Notice no mention of sparring or fighting.

Not only will we teach your child life-skills, but they’ll learn the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu in a safe, friendly and fun environment.

Jiu Jitsu Tots is back.

From September, we’re bringing the UK’s original play-based Jiu-Jitsu programme back to Bedford@- and this time, it’ll be all guns blazing.

In June we relaunched our Junior and Youth classes to a brilliant response. Now it’s the Tots’ turn.

Since 2013, we’ve built confidence, motor skills and a genuine love of movement in children aged 3–5 - through play, not drills. No sparring, ever.

A strict 1:8 coach-to-child ratio.
Fully qualified, insured coaches.
Parents welcome to stay for every session.
