Guru Arjan Dev Gurdwara Kabaddi Club. Derby

I want to make this very clear,, an incident took place at our Kabaddi Event on Sunday 20th August.
One of our many sponsors agreed to giving us the opportunity to have the use of his fields. Our club namely, GADG KHALSA KABADDI CLUB, Derby would like to take this opportunity to thank him as well as his family and friends for all the support they gave our Club.
The event itself was amazing as seen by thousands of people around the world on YouTube and two police officers who said it was a great atmosphere and everyone was enjoying themselves.
After the officers left. A group of silly mindless individuals turned up around 3pm wearing face masks.
We had a security team for the event but they failed to turn up on the day. Our Councillor Balbir Singh Sandhu tried his best to get another security detail in place but they also failed to attend.
The individuals that caused this problem will be held accountable for their actions and our Club will not rest until try they are punished in a court of law.

Congrats to Slough Kabaddi Club our Mighty Midlands lost to them in the finals, amazing match 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

This message is from the England Kabbadi Federation, General Secretary.

It is my very sad duty which I fulfill with enormously heavy heart to advise you all of 2 major tragedies today.

First, Sheera Samipuria's mum passed away this morning and he has gone to India today to attend funeral.

Second, Kewal Policia's brother and other family members were involved in a car accident in India today which has resulted in the death of 4 immediate members of Kewal's family.

Our thoughts are with both Sheera and Kewal and their families and we pray that Waheguru gives them stregnth.
