Handicap KO Semi‑Final — Match Report

Yesterday our Handicap KO team took on Millbrook in the semi‑final, and after a hard‑fought contest we came up just short, losing 3–2. A big thank‑you to Andy, our team captain, and to everyone who supported the team — your backing always makes a difference.

As a club, we’d also like to extend our thanks to Millbrook for their hospitality throughout the day, and we wish them the very best of luck in the final.

Past Captains vs Club Competition — Result & Recap

The annual Past Captains vs the Club match brought 28 players to the course today for a full‑holes‑count match‑play showdown. One Past Captains pairing fell short and another finished all square, but the overall strength of the squad shone through — the Past Captains claimed the honours with an impressive 11‑up victory.

Thanks to everyone who took part in a fun, competitive, and good‑spirited day. We already look forward to welcoming you all back next year for the rematch.

Great energy at today’s monthly presentation—wonderful to see so many people join in. Huge congratulations to all the winners, you earned it.

Our next social event will be a Rock and Roll bingo on Friday 21st August starting at 7.30pm. There will be 5 rounds of bingo with a cost of £2 for a card in each of the rounds which are purchased on the night. There will be prizes for each round.
The cost will be £10 per person which will include sandwiches and chips.

This should be a fun way to show off your musical expertise, whilst supporting the Primrose Cancer Care Unit.

Throwback to June’s Captain’s Supper — World Cup theme, live singers, a buzzing disco, and a room full of legends who went all‑in with their outfits. Brilliant atmosphere

The President would like to extend his sincere thanks to all members who supported Presidents Day. Congratulations to the winners. It was wonderful to see such strong participation and to hear how much everyone enjoyed both the course and the ploughman’s lunch.
