We're really excited to announce that Viv has been voted as the new Speech and Drama Chair of the Adjudicators Council for the British and International Federation of Festivals! 🥳

Having served on the Adjudicators' Council since 2017, Viv will now lead the team of Speech and Drama adjudicators on the council, voice the views of Speech and Drama adjudicator members, oversee new adjudicator applications and help shape the strategic direction of Speech and Drama within the Federation.

Viv is proud to take on this important responsibility and share her passion for the Festival movement, helping to preserve the future of Festivals for generations to come.

Congratulations to former Redford, Adam Stewart and the whole team at Prague Youth Theatre on your 15th anniversary!

It’s a brilliant achievement and we’re so pleased we’ve been able to visit and see you in action! Long may your success continue 🥳

Prague Youth Theatre is 15! 🎂

In September 2011, Adam launched PYT with a homemade website, two age groups and just 15 students, with a simple dream of creating a fun, friendly, performance-led space where young people could develop their confidence, creativity and love of theatre.

15 years later, we’re incredibly proud of how far that dream has come. We’ve grown, moved venues, welcomed thousands of young people through our doors, navigated the challenges of COVID and, in 2024, found our current home at the PYT Hub in Vršovice.

Today, we work with over 260 students representing 43 nationalities - a truly international community united by a love of theatre. 🌍

A huge thank you to all of our students and families, past and present, for your support over the years. And to our amazing team members, teachers, interns and the many theatres who have welcomed our performances - thank you for being part of the PYT story. ❤️

Here’s to celebrating 15 years of PYT, and to a very exciting year ahead! 🥂

Have I just bought myself two new musical theatre anthologies even though I already have so many MT books they don’t fit on the shelves and they’re piled on the floor? You know it.

Will this be the last of it? No. Do I have a sheet music addiction? Possibly.

We will shortly be placing an order for new Redford uniforms for the students who have just joined the school, but if you'd like to order a new polo, sweatshirt, hoodie or book bag just drop us an email or ask for an order form in your next lesson and we'll add it to our list!

Amazing to spend the day at Shakespeare's Globe seeing former Redford, pipsnix take on the epic role of Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.
