Hello all..
As you know the institute is ran by volunteers..and does not sit cash rich.

We have a company threatening to sue us for NOT using their services.. (as we do and have always used British gas..) but they claim to have a contract signed by us. The name on the contract is not even the correct spelling of one of our signatories and its a digital signature.

Do we have any lawyers here that can advise?
They are threatening to take us to court.. but cant see how..we've never used their service and never agreed to either. Smacks of fraud and fear mongering.

Wee update on prizes for the raffle at the charity music night at purple orange.

As you know..the Institute is a 150 year old volunteer ran service with its only purpose providing a safe space for the people of Bathgate to have an affordable place to come together and play snooker, darts, pool and also supports local children with its housing of the GMSMA school.

Friday 24th July there is going to be a live music fundraiser to try and help cover some of the costs of this service..
Tickets available in the Bathgate Institute and Snooker Hall or on the door, on the night.
Again..with people in mind..price is only £5
There will be live music..a raffle and other games..

Please pop down, have a great night..and support this generous musical offering and our towns Institute.
