🐺Star the Wolf’s Dinner Rules: LOOK, BUT DON’T TOUCH! 😂
Star is happily enjoying his bone… but apparently he thinks someone might be planning a snack attack. 👀
So every few bites, he flashes those pearly whites just to make sure everyone understands the situation:
“MY bone. MY dinner. You stay over there.” 😬🐺🤣
Don’t worry, Star—we got the message loud and clear! Nobody’s fighting you for that bone! 😂🦴

🐺 INTERNATIONAL WOLF DAY 🐺
Today we celebrate one of the world’s most beautiful, intelligent and often misunderstood animals — the wolf.
Here at Wolves of Wiltshire, we are incredibly privileged to care for these amazing animals and to give visitors the opportunity to learn more about their true nature.
Star and Tarik remind us every day just how individual, intelligent and special these animals are. Through our educational experiences, we hope to replace fear and misunderstanding with respect, appreciation and a desire to protect wolves for future generations.
Please help us celebrate International Wolf Day by sharing this post and showing your support for these magnificent animals. 🐾

Wolf grooming isn't just about looking good – it's a great way to build trust, check their coat and skin, and spend quality time together. 🐺❤️

Preston 3 Update 🐺🐺🐺
We thought it was time for another update on our Preston 3 wolfdogs – Little Timmy, Boo and Brooke.
We're continuing to see small but encouraging steps forward. Timmy and Brooke are showing more and more interest in us and will now often come over to say hello. Interestingly, they seem to be much more comfortable around females than males at the moment.
Their confidence is still heavily influenced by KC, our wonderful older wolfdog. Timmy and Brooke will generally only approach us when KC is in with them, using her as reassurance that everything is safe.
Boo remains the most cautious of the three and will still tend to hang back when people are around. However, don't let that fool you. When we're not present, she integrates well with the other wolfdogs and is becoming increasingly confident within the group.
We continue to carefully manage their progress by giving them time both together and apart. This allows us to build their confidence at a pace they're comfortable with while ensuring they continue developing positive relationships with the other wolfdogs.
These three arrived with very little trust in people, so every small step is a huge achievement. Progress with nervous rescue wolfdogs is never a straight line, but we're pleased with how far they have come and look forward to seeing what the next few months bring.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support their rehabilitation journey. ❤️ 8 Below Husky Rescue

Star doing his best “professional hunting wolf” impression… 🐺
Our little albino baby is getting far too big for mumma’s pouch now… but still insists on trying to squeeze in for cuddles 🥺🤍
These moments don’t last forever, and watching them grow is both adorable and emotional at the same time. Mum is definitely starting to look a little fed up with being used as a portable bed 😂

Throwback to 2022 when Steve Backshall came to film the Deadly Predators episode with us at Wolves of Wiltshire.
This old clip shows Steve spending time with one of our wolf pups during filming, alongside Star & Tarik who both featured on the programme. The show featured some amazing wolf facts and helped give viewers a closer insight into these incredible animals. 🐺
