🏏 Bathford CC Teams 29 August 🏏

Time for one last weekend in the Wiltshire league, as our 1s are praying the weather holds as they prepare to host Chippenham 4s this Saturday. A big win could take them to 5th place and finish their season in style.

💚🏏 Bathford CC x Hands to Hold Teams 🏏💚

As Sunday rapidly approaches here are your men’s and Bobcats’ teams for the Community Cup day. Fingers crossed for dry weather and we hope to see as many of you as possible. With so much going on throughout the day there really is something for everyone in what promises to be a great day of cricket, community and fundraising.

🏏 Bathford CC Results 22nd August 🏏

A tough Saturday for the Ford as both the 1s and 2s take second place. The 1s put up a fight on tough facilities over at Blue Brigade, with North, Pete Miles and Mark Tooley posting very solid knocks with the bat. In the 2s, Darren Sutton led with bat and ball as the 2s finished their season against Purton.

🏏 Bathford CC Teams 22nd August 🏏

The 1s have their penultimate game away at Blue Brigade as they will be hoping to seal a top 5 finish in Division 6. The 2s have their last game of the season at home to Purton, with a win hopefully getting them out of the bottom 4 in Division 9.

🏏💚 Bathford CC x Hands to Hold Charity Match 💚🏏

We’re incredibly excited to announce the first ever Hands to Hold Community Cricket Cup in partnership with Bathford CC and sponsored by The Bath and Wiltshire Parent Magazine.

The day starts with our Bobcats taking the field at 12:00, followed by a competitive 30 over charity match at 13:00. There’s cricket, a BBQ, a club bar, live music and a charity raffle and plenty going on throughout the afternoon.

All funds raised will be split 50/50 between Hands to Hold and Bathford CC, supporting both the community and the work both organisations do.

🏏 Bathford CC Results 15 Aug 🏏

An all round performance and career best bowling figures from Ben Kirby Woollett sealed the 1s’ victory over Keevil in what may play a key role in their division 6 fight this year. The 2s had a tough day at the office away at Melksham. We congratulate the ex-Bathfordians amongst their title winning side.

As we enter the final few weeks of the 26 Season, the 1s are taking on Keevil at home and the 2s’ penultimate game is away against Melksham. We’d love your support so if you can get down to the Ford or over to Melksham then we’d love to see you.

🏏 Bathford CC Results 8/9 August 🏏

Another tough weekend for the Ford. The highlight of the weekend was Northy taking his 500th wicket for the club, an incredible achievement and one that cements him as leading wicket taker. In the 2s, Darren Sutton took a silky 4fer to go with his 43 runs. In the Exiles, both Yatin and BKW retired on 50 and took 3 wickets, of which Yatin’s came in the form of an amazing hat trick to stun the opposition batsmen.

🏏 Bathford CC Teams 8/9 August 🏏

As we go into the last 4 weeks of the season, the 1s are taking on Norton St Philip for the first time this season, with the last outing being a division wide wash out back in June. The 2s host Royal Wootton Bassett and will be hoping to get in more than the 10 overs they lasted before the rain last time out. The Exiles take on Bristol Bangladeshi again for the first time and will be hoping to end their season in style.

🏏 Bathford CC Results 1/2 August 🏏

The 2s take home the points for the club away at Goatacre, as a stellar batting performance from Darren Sutton and Yatin Prasad. Despite the all round performance of Ali Duffield and a lovely 4fer from Tom Kember, the 1s couldn’t bring it home in their last over thriller at home to Goatacre. The Exiles struggled again at home to Brislington and will be hoping to get back to form next week.
