As we kick off a brand new season, it’s time to introduce the incredible coaching team who will be leading our athletes through 2026/27! 💎

From cheer and dance to tumble and development, our coaching team brings so much experience, passion and energy to the programme.

And with so much to look forward too, we know this team is pushing for the best season yet! 💎

September is here and SEASON 26/27 IS OFFICIALLY GO!

What’s happening this month:

📅 1st September — CLASSES RETURN!
We’re back! A brand new season, new goals and plenty to work towards. 🔥

📅 12th September — COMP TEAM PRE-LOVED SALE & UNIFORM SIZING
⏰ 9am–12pm
📍 Roundhill Primary
Come along to get sized for your new cheer uniform or grab a bargain from our pre-loved kit!

📅 13th September — COACH FIRST AID TRAINING ⛑️
Our Obsidian coaching team will be completing their first aid training ready for the season ahead.

📅 27th September — COACH QUALIFICATION RENEWALS 🎓
Coaches Harriet & Mollie will be renewing their Levels 3–6 Cheer qualifications as we continue investing in our coaching and programme development.

We’re looking for some new little superstars to join our U6 Novice Cheer team TINY GEMS! 🖤💛

If your little one loves to dance, jump, tumble, perform or simply has bundles of energy, this could be the perfect introduction to competitive cheerleading! 🌟

🎀 Born between 2020–2022
📅 Training Saturdays, 9:00–10:00am
📍 Roundhill Primary School
🏆 4 competitions throughout the season
✨ No previous cheer experience needed!

Tiny Gems is all about building confidence, friendships and new skills while getting to experience the excitement of being part of a competition team! 🥹💛

🔥 TRAIN WITH ONE OF THE UK’S BEST THIS SUMMER!

We’re so excited to welcome Becky Mancini back to Obsidian Cheer & Dance for an exclusive day of workshops in Bath! 💥

Former Team England Hip Hop Manager, current Team England Jazz Choreographer, and a highly decorated choreographer across the UK & USA, Becky will be delivering two incredible sessions packed with technique, performance quality, musicality and choreography.

After an incredible try-out process, we’re so excited to reveal that Season 6 team placements will be sent via email on Monday 20th July! 🖤💛

Our coaching team has spent countless hours reviewing every try-out, every video submission and every athlete to ensure we create teams that will help each individual grow, succeed and enjoy the season ahead.

We know you’re excited (and maybe a little nervous too!), but remember…

💎 Every team at Obsidian is valued equally.
💎 Team placements are based on creating the best opportunities for long-term athlete development and team success.
