First day over at the Oak Fair. The weather came right in the end and managed to get a couple of photos!!

It's been a successful day despite the 🌧

Tomorrow is looking a lot better weather wise 🌤

So fingers crossed for another good day 🤞

I am heading off to set up at Dorset's Oak Fair in Sturminster Newton today, with a few new pieces.

I found some new resin tint that I have been experimenting with and I am loving it ❤️

If you are in the area, come along. I really enjoyed being at this event last year and am looking forward to this weekend.

I think it's going to be a mix of rain and sunshine but we really can't complain. The trees, plants and wildlife are desperate for this rain so we should be very grateful for it 🌦🙏

I am absolutely thrilled to be taking part in the HOMEGROWN exhibition in London starting next month.

This Friday I am off to Dorset to set up for the Oak Fair at Sturminster Newton.

I will be getting my first newsletter emailed this week before heading off. So just a heads up if anyone has been meaning to sign up but hasn't got around to it. I have included all my Christmas events in the newsletter. I have 5 weeks in a row of events through November to early December. They will be added to my website very soon but I am putting them in my newsletter first along with what I have been working on for the last 4-6 weeks and what will be coming to my website.

The Fish Hook and Whale Tail.

The Fish Hook represents abundance, good health and prosperity 🪝

I don't know anyone who couldn't do with a little more of any of those things in their life 😁

With the Whale Tail in the same sculpture you also have close bond between animal and human as well as safe travels, especially over water🐋

The meanings come attached to each sculpture on the back of it's card showing what they started from...an up-cycled building block.

This Twist started life as an up-cycled block on a building site like the ones in the background of my first photo and is now a wonderful piece of art in someone's garden.

This is a bit of a belated post (to say the least!!) Life has been very busy lately 🫣

I am cutting out some stensils for a new project I am working on and I just had to post this to all other kiwis ...it has completely taken me back to childhood !! Did anyone else use to rip minty wrappers into spirals ? Or is it just something I did ?? 😆😅
