I’ve created a new 60 second quiz to help you find what is making your menopause transition more exhausting. Is it the people pleasing, need for perfection or all that over giving. Take the quiz and start your journey back to yourself beneath all the layers. No more self doubt, feeling wired or lack of boundaries. It’s time to start your new chapter with a new set of beliefs 💗
The one-second practice: inhale through your nose and hug yourself. Exhale through your mouth, open your arms, stretch up. Repeat, and notice your system soften.
Then set one micro boundary this week — say no to one thing, or take the rest your body’s been asking for.
We go deeper into this at Lifting the Veil, my 3-hour online retreat: Sunday 13th September, 11am–2pm BST. £67 (usually £87), including a free 60-minute 1:1 afterwards.

Which are you trying first — the self-hug or the boundary? Tell me in the comments 🤍

Your menopause transition shows you that change is needed. For years you could hold it all. The comment. The expectation. The emotional weather in the room.
You were the calm one. The capable one. The one who didn’t need much.
And then something huge changed.
The same things you used to tolerate started feeling impossible. The noise got louder. The mask got heavier. The “I’m fine” stopped working.
That isn’t you becoming difficult.
It might be your body telling the truth before your mind is ready to.
Hormones can thin the layer you used to hide behind. And when that happens, old wounds don’t stay quiet. Hormones set the scene — but your history sets the load.
So the question isn’t “what’s wrong with me?”
It’s “what have I been carrying that was never mine?”
Start here:
Put both feet on the floor.
Breathe out slowly.
Ask yourself — what am I carrying that isn’t actually mine?
Which part landed today? Tell me below.

I spent years believing joy had to be earned. That I could have it once the list was done, once everyone else was sorted, once I’d proved I deserved it.
Nobody ever said that out loud to me. I just absorbed it — and then lived by it for thirty years.
Here’s what nobody tells you: the belief goes, and the joy is just there. Waiting. It was never the reward at the end. It was available the whole time.
A field full of sunflowers on an ordinary Saturday. That’s it. That’s the whole thing.
What have you been waiting to earn?

Your mother wound didn’t cause your menopause. But it might be deciding how heavy it feels.
For years you had the capacity to absorb it — to be the calm one, the one who doesn’t need much. Then the hormones shift, the tolerance thins, and everything you’d been carrying quietly starts to speak.
That isn’t you falling apart. That’s the veil lifting.
Hormones set the scene. Your history sets the load.
Which slide landed? Tell me below — and the quiz in my bio shows you how your mother wound, your beliefs and your symptoms connect.
🌿 Look around you and name five things you can see
☕️ Hold a warm mug — tea, coffee, hot chocolate
🛋️ Wrap up in a soft blanket and let yourself feel cosy
🦶 Plant your feet, stand, breathe, and rock gently back and forth
Tiny things. But they start to loosen the freeze and get you moving again.
If this resonated, stay with me — there’s more coming on limiting beliefs and the masks we wear.
✨ Take the free quiz in my bio to find out where you are, and start from there.
