The new season is almost here, but after a tough summer with the heat we are urgently asking to borrow some crash mats so our players can get some contact sessions completed.

International Update! 🇯🇲

Following the update we shared two weeks ago, we're delighted to share that our very own Kristelle and the Jamaica U18 team are back from the Rising Nations Cup... As tournament winners! 🏆

Here's an update from Kristelle herself:

"Hi all, I just got back from my Jamaican Rugby tour to Lithuania in the Rising Nations Cup and I wanted to give a huge thank you for all the support I’ve received for my tour! I scored 1 try in the first game against Latvia and the Jamaica u18s team won the whole tournament. None of the opposition put a score on us! I hope I have done you all proud and thanks again for all of the support ☺️"

A huge shout out to our own Kristelle, who made her debut for Jamaica's U18 side today! Off the back of a great season for both 'Stoke and Hampshire, Kristelle took full advantage of her call up, crossing for a try in her first game for the national side 🤩

While the result didn't go Jamaica's way, it fills the club with pride to see our players make their mark at higher levels. More opportunities should follow, as the Jamaica side head to Lithuania in two weeks time for the Rising Nations tournament! 🇱🇹

What a weekend! 🏝️

Basingstoke turned Suva this weekend, as a huge Fijian contingent descended upon Down Grange for SokoFest and the finale of this year's Kaiviti 7s series.

Searing pace, crunching tackles and outrageous skill was everywhere to be seen on the pitch, while vendors and the wider community brought the tunes, the vibes and some incredible food!

A huge congratulations goes to Naitasiri UK, who came away as tournament winners!

Basingstoke RFC is privileged to have hosted the Fijian High Commissioner Jovilisi Vulailai Suveinakama as part of today's SokoFest! Club Chairman James Jagged was also an esteemed guest, as a traditional Kava ceremony was held to mark the opening of the event.

The festivities continue going into the evening, as they host an awards dinner and fashion show at the club later on!
