🤔 2-in-1 Seated Calf & Tibialis Anterior machine

As you know our mission is to add in variations of machines so our users can hit those muscle groups from as many angles as possible.

We are considering adding this machine in because the old one was super popular in the old place.. unfortunately we had to sell it as space was restricted. (A problem we do not have right now).

It also has additional plate storage points helping us with spreading weight around the gym nicely.

*Bonus* it also doubles up as a seated tibialis anterior machine, by putting your feet under the rollers and raising your toes you’ll actively hit that prominent muscle on the front of your leg.

It’s been close but not close enough.

TODAY MILL GOT THE GOLD 🥇and a 4 second pb.

Back up against the same athlete in the 50m Breaststroke and Mill got the 🥈.

Investing in SHAPE CHANGERS.. 💪🏼

So if you watched our video recently you’ll have heard me talking about “circuit boards from China” and probably wondered what I meant.

Trust me, it’s a little nerdy but so exciting.

The image is one of our 2 custom boards we’ve had designed and made and their purpose is to replace our card terminals from our vending machines.

Why? 🧐

Honestly, good question 😂

But recently we purchased a second vending machine for our members (another investment).

It’s refrigerated, and the product isn’t “dropped”.

We wanted to eliminate the fizzy drinks, and stuck water bottle issue some users were facing.

Even though staff happily get you a cold one, or free a stuck one.. there are still people we can’t help if we’re busy or not on site.

However, this new vending machine required a card machine same as the other one.. nice and easy right?

Wrong.. 🤦🏼‍♂️

We ordered one, a new one.. from a supplier that was not the official distributor, even though the distributor said this is absolutely fine to do.

When it arrived, we asked them to swap it over to my existing account with them.

They refused as it was not bought from them.

We tried EVERYTHING..

But Still they refused.

At this point I’m heavily annoyed with them, they currently charge me around £30/pm and then take a % from every single sale we make.

So on one machine alone they take around £100/month from me.

Surely it is in their best interest to let me have a second with them?

Well.. that brings us to the circuit board, we decided to cut all ties with them completely.

+ do it ourselves.

(Really not sure if I’m capable, but I am stubborn and scorned 😂)

So we’ve invested in two of these circuit boards which will allow our users to purchase items directly from their portal and then retrieve them from the vending machine.

You’ll have a full record of your purchases with us over your time with us.

Plus, you won’t have to scan your card at every single item when trying to purchase more than one item.

This investment will actually improve our services massively and improve customer experience.

But it is a gamble 😂

Our members will have seen Ben in the gym in the mornings working on his Strength & Conditioning with jonnsbodyconditioning / Jonn's Bodyconditioning making sure he’s right up to standard winning medals 🏅
