What a day! ☀️🍔

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our HDSC Club Day & BBQ today.

Fantastic weather, plenty of food and drink, some great friendly competition and, most importantly, a lot of laughs with a brilliant group of people. The fact that the day carried on well beyond when we’d planned to finish probably says it all!

It was great to welcome some brand-new shooters to HDSC alongside so many of our seasoned members, and to see everyone getting involved, helping each other out and enjoying the day together.

From the shooting challenges and stages to standing around the BBQ catching up with friends, the whole day had exactly the relaxed, social atmosphere we’d hoped for.

This is what shooting is all about — good sport, good friends, friendly competition and a great community.

Thanks again to everyone who came along, helped out, brought food and drinks, cooked, ran activities or simply helped make the day what it was.

We’ll definitely be doing this again. 👏

What a weekend.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Humberside Mini Rifle Sprint such a fantastic match. From the competitors who travelled from across the country, to our ROs, match officials, volunteers, cadets, and HDSC club members who gave up their time to build stages, reset targets, keep the match running smoothly—you all played a part in making this event a success.

The feedback we’ve received has been incredible, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves made all the hard work worthwhile.

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who took part. We hope you enjoyed shooting the match as much as we enjoyed putting it on.

What a fantastic weekend for the Humberside QuickDraw Classic.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. From our club members, volunteers, RO team and range staff, through to the cadets who gave up their time to assist throughout the match — the amount of work behind the scenes never goes unnoticed, and events like this simply could not happen without you.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to the UKPSA Official Practical Shooting Community for their continued support of both the match and the club.

The weather was on our side both days, the stages ran exceptionally well, and we’ve been incredibly pleased with the positive feedback received from competitors. It was great to see so many shooters enjoying the match, challenging themselves, shooting safely, and contributing to such a positive atmosphere on the range.

Congratulations to all those that went home with a trophy, it’s great to see all the hard work and training pay off.

A great deal of time and effort went into designing and building the stages, and we’re proud of what the team delivered for the first Humberside QuickDraw Classic.

Thank you again to everybody involved — competitors, staff, supporters and helpers alike. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
