Something completely different for the girls who took part in their first Pitchside Football - Tournaments & Events beach football tournament this afternoon. A chance to show off their skills away from the grass and out on the sand 🏖️⚽️
The girls are working hard through pre season to prepare for next season but today was as much about enjoying the day and a love for the game!

We received a message from one of our parents this week, that following their application to The Blakemore Foundation, we have been awarded a donation of £100 towards additional kit for the girls as we continue our preparations to take on the East Riding Girls League next season.

Captains Lyla and Flo accompanied the gaffer to the East Riding Girls Football League awards evening on Monday and picked up the Fair Play Award for Barton Girls as voted for by our opponents.
Very proud of this achievement from the girls.

With a whopping 60% of the vote, ‘just ahead’ of the gaffer’s favourite, ‘Camo’ in 3rd place 😉, we are very pleased to reveal the girls’ new main playing shirt for the 2026/27 season as they move up to under 15s.

The shirt, in Barton’s traditional pink and blue colour-way will bear the logos of our main shirt sponsor PAWS - Petsitting and Walking Services and sleeve sponsor The George Inn, Barton.

With the release of our new playing shirt, and the support of 21 local business sponsors, we’re busy continuing our preparations for the upcoming season on, and off the pitch.

If your daughter is in school years 9/10 (from Sept’26), and looking for a new challenge, they would be made very welcome by our brilliant group of girls as they continue training throughout the summer.

🏆🏆 EAST RIDING GIRLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE AWARDS NIGHT 🏆🏆

The gaffer had the pleasure of accompanying captains Lyla and Flo to the East Riding Girls Football League Awards held at the University of Hull last night, where Barton Girls U14s were awarded the Fair Play Award for their division (voted for by our league opponents).

The girls have made brilliant progress on the pitch, but one thing that has never changed is the spirit in which they play the game and the respect they have for each other, and their opponents.

With the help of our principal kit partner, Empire Kits, we have come up with a number of design options for our main 2026/27 playing kit, but only one design can make it out onto the pitch next season 👀
