Not exactly the start our first team were looking for but it’s a point we will definitely take against a strong St athan side, our Man of the match was Ashley Cottle who was an absolute rock at the back making important tackles and being a great outlet for the team. Being a crucial part to getting a draw out of the game.

Our seconds team fell short yesterday, being 2-1 down with 15 minutes to go, went looking for the equaliser and were picked off by a clinical VOG rovers, man of the match was Taylor burford, an absolute rock at the back and then went up top looking for that equaliser and his second goal, unfortunately for him and us, it didn’t work out💙🤍

Dean McCarthy picked up the golden boot for the second season in a row and also the burgess baller award, highlighting what a good season he's had!
Jacob Burgess received the Gary spierling award, for his efforts off the pitch behind the scenes, the main man on the socials, he's behind all our matchday graphics, our motivator, photographer and so much more!
Tyler Donnelly had our young player of the year award, a new award brought in this season as we had a big uptake of youngsters join, Tyler went straight in to the first team making a huge impact!
Kaz was the managers player, the commitment he's shown this year has been outstanding, always giving us 100 percent effort, his attitude shines through every time he steps on the pitch, very popular figure within the group!
First team players player went to Addy, a change of position for our CB, an absolute mountain in midfield, does all the dirty work but also his quality shines through when in possession, we couldn't imagine the team without him!
Our seconds team players player was Cameron Stewart, cam is the perfect role model for many of us, one of our older heads but one of our fittest players! He's an absolute rock in the middle of the park, captain fantastic!
Lastly the two gaffas, ryan walker and Kieran Powell, the effort these two put in week in, week out, is unreal, ensuring the lads have everything they need to play football, from sorting training sessions, to socials, outstanding effort! 💙🤍

First up are the second team awards!
Gavin underwood was our golden boot winner for a second year in a row, it was a perfect end to his playing career, as he hangs up his boots!
Chris Herdman snapped up managers player, Chris is proving age is just a number, turning up week in, week out, with perfect attitude and some top performances last season!
Taylor Burford was the receiver of the Eddie mallet award, running a football team is a hard task and having people like Taylor lighten that load, storing equipment, bringing player to and from games, washing kit, you name it, Taylor did it!💙🤍

Cadoxton imps afc U13’s are looking to welcome a few new faces ahead of the 2026/27 season as the boys & girls prepare for Year 8 football this September ⚽️

This is a fantastic group mixed with boys and girls with a brilliant team spirit, strong coaching set-up and a great environment to develop and enjoy your football.

Whether you’ve played before, are returning to the game, or fancy a new challenge — new players are always welcome at Caddy Imps🤝
