We also have a class for anyone experiencing Peri-Menopause and Menopause symptoms. Using specific exercise to help.

Motion Control Dance is closing out the summer with one more workshop and this one is a bit different, Southern Soul Line Dancing with Emma at the MCD studio on Thursday 27th at 6pm, open to over 16s who fancy trying something new ๐ Think easy patterns, feel good music, and a room full of people moving together with no pressure to get it perfect, whether you have danced with us for years or you are walking through our doors for the very first time this one is built for you to relax, laugh, and leave with a new set of steps in your back pocket ๐ Spaces are limited so please book early, we would love to see some familiar faces and some new ones on the floor โค๏ธ. Well, September is nearly here, and that means our new dance season is almost upon us. Enrolment is open now across all of our movement programmes, and whoever you are and wherever you're starting from, there is a place for you here at the award-winning Motion Control Dance charity.

For families of ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป, ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ด ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐น๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ we have our Local Motion programme, built specifically around what your child needs, not what they're expected to fit into. And for our ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ we have Tai Chi across Barry, Rhoose and Llantwit Major, Creative Movement, and Menogize sessions, all designed to be gentle, welcoming and paced for you.

What a summer it has been! Last night two workshops brought the fire in our studio. ๐ฅ Our dancers threw themselves into workshops with the brilliant teaching street and commercial choreography and Natty Lou bringing the funk with her locking session. The energy in that room was something else ๐ Watching a group go from learning the first eight count to nailing full routines together, is exactly why we do this. It doesn't matter what level you walk in at, because everyone leaves a little braver on that dance floor ๐ Now we are closing out the summer with one more session. It is a different flavour entirely, Southern Soul Line Dancing with me next week, so come and swap the trainers for something with a bit more soul and a lot more fun โค๏ธ Email us to book your spot, we would love to see you there.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Jodi Nation to the Motion Control Dance family as our newest dance tutor, bringing her passion and experience straight into our studios in the Vale of Glamorgan. Jodi joins us at a really exciting time as we continue to grow our programmes and reach more members across the community, and from the moment we met her it was clear she shares the same belief we do, that dance is for everybody, no matter your age, ability, or background. Whether you catch her in one of our classes over the coming weeks or see her out at community events, please give her the warm MCD welcome she deserves ๐โค๏ธ We cannot wait to see what she brings to our dancers, our families, and our wider community.
