🌧️💔 a tough one to take.

Our Game away to Crumlin was called off early, and it was out of our hands. Pentyrch hosted Cardiff and did everything to get their game on and they played a shortened game 🏏

A very strong looking side got the result they needed, keeping them up and sending us down to Division 5 for 2027.

A tough year, and possibly one of the worst ways to go down. However, so much has been built and set in place this year. We know what we’re putting together is going to build long term success for the Club.

We have the right people onboard driving the Club forwards, great support from Commercial Partners New and Old 🤝🏻 With more Juniors onboard, our new Womens Softball Side Barry Blaze forming and entering the League for 2027, the only way is up 📈

On this coming Bank Holiday Monday, something a bit different down the Island Oval… 👀

We are proud to host a fundraiser for some of the Members from the Local Karate Centre! 🥋

7 Members have Qualified for the European Championships later this year in Sneek, Netherlands👏🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Representing your country at a European Championship is an incredible achievement, but it also comes with significant costs 💸

This Fundraiser goes towards reducing the financial burden on the families of the students who have earned their place through dedication, hard work and commitment by going towards tournament entry fees and related participation costs, helping our athletes focus on giving their very best on the international stage 🤩

With Fun for everyone all day, including a Quiz and a Raffle with some great prizes up for Grabs! (Get in touch if you have anything you could put it!) come on down and enjoy one of the last days of the School Holidays!

Just about recovered from Yesterday! What a Game, What a Win! 💪🏻

An amazing game at HQ yesterday against our Neighbours Dinas Powys 👏🏻 With the Boys needing to deliver, they did just that!

With Dinas 75-1, enter Ieuan Williams 🫡 an extraordinary spell of Bowling that flipped the Game on its head 🤯 Standing in as Captain with Ashley Baker unable to take to the Field for the Second Half, when the Club needed someone to stand up and deliver, the Man stood tall! (Just not tall enough to catch off his own bowling 👀🤣)

A great game for everyone to be a part of, and a mention to Dinas Powys Cricket Club for allowing a 12th Man onto the Field, as well as Competitive Game being played in Great Spirit throughout the entire Day.

We remain outside the Drop Zone by 4 Points. Saturday, we Travel to Crumlin and it’s pretty simple. It’s in our Hands, Win and we Stay up 💪🏻

A Huuuuuuge Win at the Weekend for our 1st Team as they won away at Pontymister & Crosskeys 🥳👏🏻

Stand out performances from Dhilip Hurbert and Taylor Burns helped us to a 4️⃣ Wicket Win and with just 3 games left of the Season, we Climb out of the Division 4 drop zone!

A solid performance for the 2nd XI at home to a strong Sudbrook side, with 5️⃣0️⃣s for both Reuben Hopkins (who also bagged 2 wickets 😮‍💨) and Daniel Quick 👏🏻

3 Cup Finals starting with Monkswood on Saturday. If you’re around, come down and make some noise for the boys! 🦌💪🏻

St Fagans and Cowbridge played out the Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League Cup Final at the Island Oval last night, and what a game it was! 🏏

In the Hundred Format, St Fagans batted first and finished on 133-6 from their 100 Balls. In a gripping chase, Cowbridge finished on 128-5 giving a narrow 5 Run Win to St Fagans! 👏🏻😮‍💨

A Fantastic Evening at HQ, congrats to both sides on a fantastic game of Cricket played in great spirit (no Clicky Ponting here 👀) and Congrats to St Fagans on lifting the Trophy 🏆👏🏻
