*** THE AUTUMN INTRODUCTION TO RUNNING COURSE IS STARTING SOON ***

Our 'Introduction to Running' course for autumn 2026 will be fast approaching, with the new course starting on Monday, 7th September at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park.

If you are new to running, or haven’t run in a while are looking to get back into a new routine then this FREE programme is for you.

In our 6-week supported guide we will take you from a gentle walk-run session to a supported 5k at Cosmeston parkrun.

Our next course starts on Monday 7th September and finishes with the Cosmeston parkrun on Saturday 17th October.

Through the 2026 National School Sport Survey, pupils from Year 3 to Year 11 in the Vale have helped schools, our team and partners better understand how to help shape sport and physical activity in their schools and local communities.
