🔴🔴🔴STOWFORD FRIDAY FAMILIES.....It isn't looking great for tomorrows lessons I'm afraid.

But, I will have an update on the pool temperature tomorrow morning 11.09.26.

Would you ALL please check here on Splash Swimschool North Devon page for tomorrow's update & before heading out to the pool. I may have to cancel tomorrow's lessons.

I am sorry this isn't the start to the term I was hoping for and looking forward to. There seems to be a biomass heating issue.

⚠️⚠️⚠️STOWFORD TODAY 8th⚠️⚠️⚠️...not the start of term i was hoping for:

I'm very sorry, NO lessons tonight. I've been informed by the pool manager just now that the biomass went down overnight and they currently have engineers out & working on the pool to rectify the problem, which is out of my control. It is too cold for lessons & I can only apologise for this.
Please indictate this post with a (👍) so that i know who has seen this message & who i will need to contact. Please let friends know who may not remember to check fb. Thumbs up on this original post so that I can see who is aware.

£'s carried forward to next term fees.
No extra class in place of today.
No refunds unless you are NOT returning in January.

I really am feeling awful as it's our first lesson back & was looking forward to seeing you all.

STOWFORD LESSONS START TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER: IMPORTANT ⚠️
There will be a huge amount of work traffic, agricultural vehicles, diggers etc working on site over the coming months and it is ESSENTIAL that the ONE WAY ROUTE to and from the pool for my families vehicles is strictly adhered to. Cars and number plates will be taken for any vehicles not following the one way route and this will ultimately fall on me for a caution.
Management have asked me to reiterate that safety of everyone is important while these works are going on during lessons time.

Please follow the route past reception (right at the bottom of the long hill) then go straight ahead at the cross road & follow the lower road around the large play area to the pool. Signage to 'stable BAR'.
When you leave, use the exit by the stable BARN (follow the arrow sign⬆️) for your way out.

I dont want to start this term by being 'the swimschool that can't follow the rules'.

🐸All shoes off at the door please.

🐸Arrive swim ready.

Arrive at the pool door no earlier than 5 minutes before your lesson start time.

🐸No mobile phone use anywhere inside the pool building.

🐸Food & drink outside please.

🐸Ideally one spectator per family group swimming. 2 children-1 adult (this helps with access in the seating area on the change over of classes).

🐸No goggles for any of my beginner classes.
Googles use at my discretion thank you.

🐸Please make sure your children use the toilet before their lesson starts.

🐸Help to keep the changing area, toilets & seating area clean. No rubbish, please use the bins & notify me asap of any 'accidents'.

Please supervise little ones outside of the building, especially in the car park while work is going on on site.

MONKSPARK LESSONS START TODAY
please use the information sent to you for directions, what to do when you get there and arrive swim ready please no earlier than 5 minutes before your start time please🙏
Leave with poncho style dry robe/ dressing gowns.
I will have new swim hats (should you need one) by where you need to take shoes off on entering the pool building.

LATEST LAUNCH | Splash Swim School North Devon 🐸💦

We first built a website for Splash Swim School back in 2010. Fast forward to 2026, and it was definitely time for an upgrade.

We’ve worked with Louise and Splash ever since, so when the time came for a refresh, we already knew the business, the audience and what was needed.

We modernised the Splash brand and logo, then carried the new look through to a completely redesigned, mobile-friendly website that makes it easier for parents to explore lessons, find venue information and get in touch.

16 years on. Same client. Brand new look.

STOWFORD & MONKSPARK:
Lessons are now full at Stowford this coming term with a waiting list. I am happy to put anyone new on my waiting list to start as soon as a place becomes available.

Places available at Monkspark.
I am now full to the max with children who have additional needs, disabilities and special considerations. Time wise there are only so many sessions I am able to run with reduced class sizes to accommodate children with Sens, behavioural considerations or those who need a smaller class for concentration etc.
However,..I am very happy to put children on my waiting list for when a place becomes available. I will know after the first 2 weeks if I am able to add to the current groups.
