What a Special Day!❤️🌏

Yesterday we hosted a Dance World Cup watch party to cheer on our incredible Isla as she took to the Worlds stage for the very first time with 2 group dances in the Childrens Large Group Song & Dance category🌟

To say we are proud is an understatement. She achieved 1st in the world with Shrek and 6th in the world with Matilda Medley👏💪

As if that wasn’t enough, after becoming world champions, Isla now gets the incredible opportunity to perform Shrek once again in the Dance World Cup Gala today☘️✨

Congratulations, Isla! .dance
We can’t wait to have you back in the studio and celebrate with you properly🩷🖤

Yesterday we celebrated Islas last day before she heads to Dublin to perform in the Dance World Cup☘️🏆

Isla, you don’t understand how unbelievably proud of you we all are, DQ wish you the greatest of luck and have the best time - enjoy every second!
We all can’t wait to see you shine bright on that stage on Sunday💕

✨What we do in Gymbering Class?✨

Our Gymbering class is a mixture of gymnastics and limbering basics designed for children aged 4-8 years💖

We focus on building strength, flexibility and balance while helping our dancers develop the skills they need to progress. Some of the skills we work on include splits, kicks, leg holds, toes to head, pre-bridge and so much more🌟

We also spend some weeks focusing on specific training areas to help our dancers continue progressing, including things like instep training, Y stand training, and other targeted skills💪

At DQ Dance Academy, dance is about so much more than learning steps and routines. One of our biggest focuses is creating friendships, building confidence and making every child feel part of our dance family✨

Watching our babies holding hands reminds us that some of the sweetest moments happen in the smallest ways🥹💕

🏆🌍Dance World Cup - Watch Party🌍🏆

On Sunday the 12th of July our DQ students are coming along to support our amazing dancer Isla Warrington, as she competes at the Dance World Cup in Dublin!✨

We will be livestreaming Isla’s performance at the dance studio so we can all cheer her on together and show our support as one big DQ family💖

🗓️Date: Sunday 12th July
🎟️Tickets: £3 per child
⏰Isla performs at 4:38pm
🍿Snack & drinks available
🎉Fun, cheers and lots of support!
