Firstly a massive thank you to Mother Nature who sent us the ☀️ for the day!

From the first ball ( by Jazz and his dancing) the atmosphere was buzzing.

Families, players, volunteers, and supporters all came together to make it an amazing day.

This Saturday the 1s host Wath Cricket Club at the Castle, whilst the 2s travel to West Bretton CC!

Whilst on Sunday we host Chronicles England CC in the Barnsley & District Cricket League.🏏

🏏Weekend Round-Up🏏

The 1st XI secured an excellent victory after recovering from an early wobble of 56/3. Jenson Hayes and Elliot Burnett turned the innings around with a superb 126-run partnership, helping us post 234 all out from 48.3 overs.

Into the second innings the hosts looked well placed at 151/4, needing just 84 more runs, but a sensational spell from Craig Lloyd Heppenstall changed the game. He claimed the final five wickets for just 5 runs, sealing a great win for the 1st XI. This Saturday we welcome Wath Cricket Club to the Castle this Saturday.
