Another excellent win on the road in the SHFA Senior cup.

Lads dug deep and worked hard to come away with the win and the clean sheet

Our goal scorer was Billy Goose, with a cool finish after a good move.

Lots of hard working, brilliant performances.

Just pinching the man of the match was Joe Middleton

Tomorrow we travel to Rotherham to face AFC Phoenix Rotherham in the 1st round of the Sheffield FA Senior cup.

Midweek saw us win on penalties against a tough Denaby main side in the 2nd round of the league cup. The game finished 2-2 and we went on to win 4-2 on penalties. The goal scorers on the night was skipper Tom Horsfield and his centre half partner Jordan Stacey. All our 4 penalty takers dispatched there penalties expertly and keeper Brett Souter, who had an excellent game was the penalty shoutout hero, with an excellent save and then scoring the third penalty.

Opening day win on the road. Excellent performance from a side including many young lads. We had to dig in and come from behind to take all 3 points.

Billy goose equalised for us with a poachers finish on his return to the line up and the winner was scored by our number 10 Fin Taylor, fully deserving his goal after covering every blade of Astro turf.

Man of the match was another lad who ran his blood to water just pipping ticker, in Caiden Gyte.

We are away Wednesday in the league cup to Denaby main.
