This weekend fixtures.

The 1st team travel to Shiregreen.

The 2nd team host Wakefield Thornes match ball sponsored by Eric Twigg foods.

The 3rd team travel to De le Salle Sheffield on Saturday then host Sheffield Collegiate 5ths on Bank holiday Monday match ball sponsored by Mark Gee.

We also have the ECB finals day on Sunday.

Last weeks results 🏏

The 1st Team batted first against Oughtibridge with Curtley Louw (SYS Scaffolding & Triple M) scoring 63 as we reached 201/8 from our 50 overs.
Arslan Mir (Crown Garage & Bifold Network) then took 4 wickets and Haider Jahangir took a 5 for with Captain Callum Higgins (Netherlands Boarding Kennels) taking 5 dismissals behind the stumps as we bowled Oughtibridge out for 143.

The 2nd team lost to Hallam. Batting first we scored 98 with Hallam reaching the target with 6 wickets lost.

On Sunday, it was a defeat for the 3rds against a strong Waverley side. Oliver Mottram (BDB design build) took 6 wickets and Freddie Rowbottom (Eadon , Lockwood & Riddle) 4 wickets helped us bowl them out for 172 but we fell to 80 all out.

It was defeat for the Sunday side as we posted 199/7 from our 40 overs with Kieran Higgins (Willtom Safety Solutions) 54 not out and Andrew Ivill (Wild Ant Cricket) scoring 41 not out in partnership just short of 100.
Barnsley reached the target for the loss of just 3 wickets.

A disappointing set of results last week but a couple of performances of note with Callum Johnson (Danny Laister Mortgage Adviser) making it back to back 50s for the 2nds and Joe Denby took 4 wickets for the 1sts.
