We had a lot of fun at the Cricket Without Boundaries Big Bash tonight at Oughtibridge War Memorial Cricket Club. We were really pleased to support ex‑player Beth Brown and raise money for a fantastic cause helping young people worldwide.

Cricket Without Boundaries uses cricket to support young people in disadvantaged communities around the world. Every penny raised from the tournament will support the charity's work.

Thanks to Phil Robinson for sponsoring the Rockingham team and to Beth for her extraordinary efforts for the charity.

Final shout out for this. Teams need to be submitted by 12:00-noon on Friday.

Following our senior matches on 22nd & 23rd August, our Player of the Match awards are as follows,

In our 1st XI match against Coal Aston 1st XI, our Player of the Match sponsored by, Seaman Herbert & Co Accountants, went to Jayden Matsikenyeri for his score of 54 runs

In our 2nd XI match against Coal Aston 2nd XI, our Player of the Match went to, Ben Shore for his 4 wickets for 49 runs

In our 3rd XI match against Darfield 2nd XI, our Player of the Match sponsored by, Claydon Accountancy Ltd, went to both James Andrews for his score of 32 and Harry for his 3 wickets for 17 runs

In our Sunday XI match against Sprotbrough , our Player of the Match went to, Jayden Matsikenyeri for his score of 108 runs

We are thrilled to announce that the Rockingham Colliery CC Ladies have qualified for the Yorkshire Regional Premier League County Finals! 🌟

They’ve put in the hard work all season, and now they take the field for a massive semi-final clash. Here is everything you need to know to come along and back the team:

📅 Date: Sunday 13th September
⏰ Start Time: 1:30 PM (Gates open / arrival from 12:00 PM)
📍 Venue: York Cricket Club, Shipton Road, York, YO30 5RE
🏏 Format: 11-a-side, 30-over match (Two semi-finals taking place simultaneously across both pitches)

A win on the day secures a dream spot in the Grand Final at Headingley Staduim on Sunday 27th September! 🏟️

It would mean the world to the team to see plenty of maroon and gold on the boundary edge making some noise. Let’s get a great crowd travelling over to York to cheer them on! 👏
