10.30am – 11.30am Circus skills with Chris Marley:
A lively, confidence‑boosting session where participants explore a range of circus props designed to build coordination, creativity, and teamwork. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, with each activity broken down into simple, achievable step (plate spinning, diablo, scarf juggling and flower sticks).

11.30am – 12.30pm Trixie Blue –Stripknot Unmasked:
If you LOVE Slipknot and LOVE learning saucy choreography this workshop is for you. This workshop will introduce you to exotic choreography in a relaxed and friendly manner to the dulcet tones of Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT! Perfect for complete beginners. Throughout the 60min workshop, you will learn: One bespoke group routine to Slipknots music and iconic burlesque/st******se/ poses/peels & choreography. You’ll also have a jolly good giggle with like-minded people. This workshop involves FLOORWORK! Are you ready to "Strip it out"? Expect a heady concoction of burlesque & st******se, amalgamated together for an exotic cocktail of excitement. Taught by Trixie Blue - professional burlesque/stripper performer and teacher. No experience required and no nudity.

1pm – 2pm Lous Safire – Operation Bombshell:
Get ready to be transported to a world of glamour and sensuality with burlesque! This centuries-old form of entertainment is a unique blend of comedy, dance, and st******se that celebrates all bodies like no other. Are you ready to unleash and feel like a superstar? Lou Safire's fun and empowering class is the perfect place to explore your sensuality and boost your confidence. Whether you are a seasoned performer or a curious beginner, Lou can't wait to help you discover the joy of burlesque. Taking some of the key moves in the burlesque repertoire and working with all elements of this spectacular performance art, Mx. Safire shows you how to create a unique stage presence and performance. Teaching you the dos and don'ts, gesture, facial expression, movement, props, and costume. Customised and developed individually to create a routine to wow an audience. By the end of the workshop, you are sure to be a diva in the making. Expect fun, laughter, and a few surprises.

2pm -3pm Miss Whisky Twist - Sing n Fling (singing is NOT essential for this workshop):
What is the Sing n Fling? The Sing n Fling has been a beloved element of burlesque, combining the power of your voice with the art of performance. Whiskey Twist will showcase her award-winning act and guide you in developing your own unique style. What you’ll learn: how to use and explore the emotions of music. Singing and vocal techniques. Commanding the stage and embracing musicality. How to add musicality, lip synch, and connection with your audience to your repertoire Note: Singing is not essential for this workshop. We will explore numerous ways to incorporate musical elements into your performance.

3pm – 4pm Seedy Frills – Bump & Grind Masterclass:
Learn the technique behind the ‘Bump and Grind’ and the ‘Shimmy’ along with a couple of boa tricks to be incorporated into a classic, showgirl-inspired routine to the song, ‘Shivas Regal!’ Please note, you will need either a boa or a long scarf for this class.

11.30am – 12.30pm Trixie Blue – All eyes on You! The Gaze and breaking the 4th Wall. Synopsis - Power of the gaze on stage, eye contact, facial expression and confidence.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Tawny Kay Loveday– Robe Masterclass. The Art of the Robe. Stop treating your robe like something you just take off. In this workshop we’ll explore how to turn a robe into a powerful stage prop, building tension, teasing the audience, and adding drama, character, and storytelling to your act. Learn how to move with it, play with it, and make the most of every moment before the reveal. Because sometimes the most exciting part… is the anticipation!

Lunch 1.30 – 2pm

2.00 – 3.00pm Seedy Frills – Join International, multi award winning Burlesque Comedienne Seedy Frills and explore ways to use your boa in Burlesque for comedic effect. This workshop will include fun exercises to encourage you to find different ways to move with your boa before learning a comedy burlesque inspired dance routine.

3.00 – 4.00pm Sam Bentley (SB Dance). Join us for an energetic jazz dance workshop designed for dancers of all levels! You’ll learn dynamic combinations, improve your coordination, and discover your own unique style in a supportive, high-energy environment. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills or simply move with confidence, this workshop is the perfect chance to dance, connect, and have fun.

4.00pm – 5.00pm Steve Rivers (Unbeatable Energy) Boomwhacker workshop. Boomwhacker is a fun and interactive musical experience where participants use brightly coloured plastic tubes, each tuned to a specific pitch, to create rhythms and melodies together. Through group activities and simple techniques, people of all ages can explore musical concepts like harmony, timing, and coordination without needing prior musical training. The workshop encourages teamwork, creativity, and listening skills, often resulting in energetic performances that are both educational and entertaining.

Friday 15th May
7.30 - 9.30pm Quiz Night with Ellie Etoile’s Burlesque - Belle Vue Pub. Fantastic prizes to be won courtesy of the gorgeous Isadora Phoenix. Prize pictures in comments. Who’s joining us? Test your knowledge across a wide range of topics while picking up new facts along the way. Come and have a giggle (and maybe a wiggle) with the gang from Ellie Etoile’s Burlesque!

Saturday 16th May
9am - 1.30pm Tank Rides On The Beach - £10pp, no booking required - bottom of Cargate Hill, Filey. Minimum height 1.2m.

10am - 4pm Shopping & Steampunk Market - back of the Evron Centre (inside and outside stalls).

10am - 2pm Strongman & Strongwoman Competitions (winner to be announced at 3pm) - Filey Bandstand, back of the Evron Centre & Crescent Gardens. £25 entry (includes competition t-shirt). Prize £2000 to be split between the male and female winners. Members of the public will also be able to try the events with winners awarded a Hull’s Strongest goody bag. Please see separate post dedicated to this for all the details.

10am - 2pm Children’s Treasure Hunt – collect forms from Isadora Phoenix & Bondi Rose – front of the Evron Centre. Prize for each child.

11am – 11.45am Ravens Morris (dance) - paved area above the café in front of the bandstand.
