Protein. Steps. Sleep. Strength training. Fibre. Water. Creatine. HRT. Magnesium. Calories. Cortisol. Supplements. 10,000 steps. No alcohol. Less caffeine. More recovery. More exercise. Less exercise. Strength training.

F@ hell.

No wonder women in menopause don’t know what to do anymore.

Every time you open Instagram, there’s another thing you’re apparently doing wrong.

And if you’re struggling with weight gain, low energy, poor sleep, brain fog, hot flushes AND a body you don’t quite recognise anymore?

You start trying to fix ALL OF IT.

At once.

So you buy the supplements.

Download the calorie app.

Cut the carbs.

Start walking 10,000 steps.

Promise yourself you’ll strength train four times this week.

Go to bed at 9pm.

Drink three litres of water.

And by Thursday?

You’re knackered and you’ve decided you’re s**t at this too.

You’re not.

The problem is that information without context is just noise.

Because I could give you a list of 25 things that might support a woman through menopause.

That’s easy.

Knowing which three things YOU need to focus on right now?

That’s coaching.

Maybe your nutrition needs attention first.

Maybe you’re barely eating all day and wondering why you’re raiding the cupboards at night.

Maybe your training needs progressing.

Maybe you’re doing too MUCH.

Maybe your sleep is so disrupted that we need to look at what’s happening there before adding another demand to your week.

Maybe there’s a symptom I want you to discuss with your GP rather than trying to fix it with food.

I don’t need you doing everything.

I need you doing the right things, in the right order, for YOUR body.

Then we assess.

Adapt.

Progress.

And repeat.

That’s how you stop menopause becoming another full-time job.

And start actually getting somewhere.

More information isn’t always the answer.

Sometimes you need someone who knows what to ignore.

Two women. Same age. Same menopause weight gain. Same goal.

I STILL wouldn’t give them the same plan.

Because the goal might look identical on paper.

The women aren’t.

One might sleep seven hours, strength train three times a week and already eat reasonably well.

The other might be surviving on five hours’ broken sleep, struggling with night sweats, skipping meals between meetings, exhausted by mid-afternoon and hasn’t trained consistently in years.

Both might tell me:

“I just want to lose this menopause weight.”

But if I coach the goal instead of the woman, I’m missing most of the information I need.

So I don’t.

I want to understand her nutrition, symptoms, sleep, energy, stress, training history, lifestyle, body-composition goals and real life.

That’s why the first stage of my Strong Womenopause™ Signature Method is Your Body Blueprint.

I don’t start by asking:

“What plan do I give you?”

I start with:

“What is YOUR body telling me and what does YOUR body need next?”

Then I build the strategy around the answer.

Because bespoke coaching isn’t changing the name at the top of a PDF.

It’s knowing which levers to pull, when to pull them and when to leave them the hell alone.

The result?

We’re not simply chasing a number on the scales.

We’re changing body composition, building muscle and strength, improving nutrition and supporting the energy, sleep and menopause symptoms that exercise, nutrition and lifestyle can influence.

Different woman. Different body. Different strategy.

That’s Strong Womenopause™.

We’re not choosing between health and aesthetics. We’re building both.

Save this if you’re done trying to squeeze your body into somebody else’s plan.

I want to introduce you to the woman I coach.

She’s not trying to be 25 again.

She doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life dieting.

And she certainly doesn’t want menopause becoming her entire personality.

She’s busy.

She’s ambitious.

She’s got a career, a business, a family, responsibilities, plans, holidays and a life she actually wants to enjoy.

But lately?

She doesn’t quite feel like herself in it.

Her body has changed.

Her clothes don’t fit like they used to.

Her energy isn’t what it was.

She feels softer. Weaker. More tired.

Maybe she’s dealing with poor sleep, brain fog, hot flushes, night sweats or a mood she barely recognises.

And somewhere along the way, her confidence took a hit too.

She’s been told:

“It’s your age.”

“It’s menopause.”

“You just need to accept your changing body.”

But here’s the thing…

She doesn’t want to settle.

And she doesn’t want her old self back either.

She wants to build the woman who comes NEXT.

Stronger.

Fitter.

Better nourished.

More energetic.

More confident.

And yes — feeling frigging AMAZING when she looks in the mirror.

She doesn’t want another diet.

She wants to understand HER body.

She doesn’t need somebody shouting at her to try harder.

She needs somebody who can look at the whole picture and know what needs to change.

That’s the woman I coach.

And that’s why I’ve become increasingly unapologetic about what I want for her.

I don’t help women accept a body they’re unhappy in.

I help them build one they feel incredible in.

Because we’re not choosing between health and aesthetics.

We’re building both.

And if you’ve just read this thinking…

“She’s talking about me.”

I probably am. 🩷

The scales haven’t moved this week.

So the obvious answer is to eat less…

Right?

Not from me!.

Because before I change a single thing, I want to know what ELSE happened this week.

Did you sleep?

How were your hot flushes and night sweats?

What happened to your energy?

How hungry were you?

How did you perform in your workouts?

What was happening at work and at home?

How stressed were you?

What did your nutrition actually look like?

Did your measurements change?

How do your clothes fit?

Because your weight is ONE piece of data.

And treating it like the only piece that matters is exactly how women end up eating less and less while being told they simply need to “try harder”.

No.

When I coach a woman through menopause, I join the dots.

Her nutrition tells me something.

Her training tells me something.

Her symptoms tell me something.

Her recovery tells me something.

Her body tells me something.

My job is knowing what to do with that information.

That’s the difference between having a generic plan…

and having an Executive Menopause Coach overseeing your body transformation.

Through my Strong Womenopause™ Signature Method, we assess, respond and adapt.

Sometimes that means changing your nutrition.

Sometimes it means progressing your training.

Sometimes it means addressing something that’s getting in the way.

And sometimes?

The smartest coaching decision is to leave the plan alone.

Because I don’t want the quickest possible drop on the scales.

I want the right result for your body.

Fat loss where it’s wanted.

Muscle.

Strength.

Energy.

Better nutrition.

Confidence.

And support for the menopause symptoms that are affecting how you feel.

We’re not choosing between health and aesthetics.

We’re building both.

And THAT requires more intelligence than simply cutting another 200 calories.

Save this before your next “the scales haven’t moved so I’ll eat less” moment!

I actually WANT my clients to care about how they look.

For a long time, I felt like I had to soften that part of what I do.

Talk about health.

Talk about strength.

Talk about menopause symptoms.

Talk about energy.

But be VERY careful about saying that I also help women change their bodies.

Because apparently, wanting to look better is something we’re supposed to have grown out of by midlife.

I disagree.

If you want to lose the weight you’ve gained through menopause…

If you want your waist back…

If you want more definition…

If you want to put a dress on and think “F@ # YES”…

I’m not going to tell you those goals aren’t important.

Low libido may not just be disappearing hormones, it could be how you feel about yourself and your confidence.

They’re massively important because they’re important to YOU.

The problem was never women wanting to look good.

The problem is what we’ve historically been told we need to DO to achieve it.

Starve ourselves.

Cut out carbs.

Live on 1,200 calories.

Punish ourselves with cardio.

Get smaller at absolutely any cost.

THAT’S the bit I reject.

Because I know we can do this differently.

We can lose unwanted body fat while fuelling your body properly.

We can change your shape by BUILDING muscle rather than simply trying to weigh less.

We can train for defined shoulders AND strong bones.

We can work towards a smaller waist AND better health.

And while we’re doing it, we can look at your sleep, energy, mood, brain fog, hot flushes, night sweats and the other menopause symptoms that exercise, nutrition and lifestyle may be able to support.

That’s what body transformation through menopause means to me.

Not becoming as small as possible.

Building a body you feel incredible in.

Strong.

Fit.

Healthy.

Capable.

Confident.

And yes…

hot, if that’s how you want to feel.

I’m an Executive Menopause Coach specialising in exercise, nutrition and body transformation.

And I’m done whispering the last bit.

We’re not choosing between health and aesthetics.

We’re building both.

If this is YOUR version of menopause too, tell me — what’s one thing you want from your body that you’ve almost felt guilty admitting?

Photos from Kelly-phillipsfitness's post 26/08/2026

One of the first things I ask my 1:1 clients to do?

Don’t change anything.

For the first week, I want to see how you actually eat.

Not your “good” day because someone is watching.

Not what you think you should eat.

YOUR normal.

Because that tells me far more than handing you a meal plan ever could.

From there, I can see how your current nutrition compares with what your body needs for your goals and we start making strategic changes.

Week by week.

Based on your data, your training, your symptoms, your progress and your actual life.

And your symptoms ease, you feel stronger and if you want, we sculpt your body too.

That’s the difference between following a diet and learning how to transform your body.

That’s why Strong Womenopause™️ is like no other program.

It’s all about you. 🩷

You are allowed to want to change your body in menopause.

There. I said it.

Somewhere along the way, wanting to lose weight, change your shape or look better in your clothes started to feel like something women should apologise for.

As though wanting to change your body means you don’t respect it.

I don’t believe that for a second.

The problem isn’t wanting fat loss.

The problem is believing you have to choose between changing how your body looks and looking after your health.

You don’t.

And that’s exactly what I do differently.

As an Executive Menopause Coach specialising in exercise, nutrition and body transformation, I’m not interested in getting weight off you at any cost.

I want to help you lose unwanted body fat while building muscle.

Become leaner while becoming stronger.

Change how your clothes fit while fuelling your body properly.

Work towards the body you want while supporting your energy, sleep, mood, brain fog and the menopause symptoms that can be influenced by exercise, nutrition and lifestyle.

Because the goal isn’t simply a smaller number on the scales.

It’s looking in the mirror and thinking:

YES. There I f@ am.

Strong.

Fit.

Healthy.

Confident.

And feeling AMAZING in the body you’re living in.

That’s why the philosophy behind my Strong Womenopause™ Signature Method is simple:

We’re not choosing between health and aesthetics.

We’re building both.

And if you’ve been quietly wanting to change your body but feeling as though you’re somehow not supposed to admit that anymore…

Consider this your permission to stop apologising for wanting more.

You don’t have to change your body.

But if YOU want to — you’re allowed to.

And I’ll never make you feel guilty for that.

🩷 Save this for the day you need reminding and share it with another woman who needs to hear it. 🩷
